The Curle roster has always been a mixture of old and new, with both established artists and newcomers. @mohrmusik is the latter, with this being his debut EP. Apart from the fact that he's based in Catania in the east of Sicily, and that his real name is Dario, there's not much I can tell you about him. Let the music do the talking!

This week, for episode 22, we are pleased to bring you a mix from Black Dahlia, who has been tearing up the Sydney scene whilst taking inspiration from brutalist movements and industrialism. She can always be relied upon for some intense and dark electro breaks to cathartic EBM grooves.

Supporting the likes of Kobosil, Paula Temple, SPFDJ, SNTS, Boston 168, and Adriana Lopez, and playing at festivals Antigravity and Trench, Black Dahlia’s sets can always be relied upon to energise as well as constantly surprise and intrigue.

Cosmic Xplorer is a project born from the musical mind of Budapest producer Daniel Hevesi.

Crafted in his Pollux Mastering studio, Hungary's only mixing and mastering studio dedicated solely to techno, his  "Xploration Of The Unknown" LP is a techno voyage filled with deep and atmospheric soundscapes.

From beginning to end, the six-tracker transports the listener through fields of textured layers, rolling bassline and hypnotic spatial tones. 

While cerebral in nature, the LP goes beyond at-home listening and is ideal for dance-floor moments deep into the night, offering well-constructed DJ tools that slide between peak-time play and after-hours music.

It is no surprise, thus, that label boss Moon Phase invited Cosmic Xplorer to release this work of art on Lune Records, for what actually makes the first release on the newly-launched imprint. The fact that Moon Phase has personally released music on SRIE Records, a label that needs no introduction for the sci-fi techno fans, gives us an inclination of the A&R direction for Lune Records, and why Cosmic Xplorer's "Xploration Of The Unknown" LP fits squarely within its musical scope.

Secluded, a new alias created at the beginning of 2012 by Sleaze Records label boss Hans Bouffmyhre. With the aim to explore a new techno vibe, inspired by sounds from Berlin & Detroit, Secluded productions are characterised with a deep pounding beat, softened by dubby synth passages and soundscapes, creating a gloomy atmosphere. With vinyl releases already out on EarToGround & Sleaze Records, including remixes by Jonas Kopp, Markus Suckut, Mike Dehnert & Shifted, big things are expected for the future!
