OBY, a band originally founded during class at Columbia College Chicago, creates what they call "Big Band Hip-Hop," - The genre that fuses Hip-Hop with Gospel and Jazz. Which fits, considering the band members are all church musicians around the city of Chicago. With playful lyricism and funky grooves, Oby brings a unique and diverse style to any atmosphere.
