French producer Pierre Paumier returns as @jonnnah with his new LP What They Left on Second End Records, a wintry blend of dub techno, bass, ambient, and slowed breakbeat textures. Among its standout moments, “Consume Me” drifts from a foggy dub techno haze into an understated downtempo groove, carrying a subtle trip-hop mood that feels both welcoming and quietly mysterious.
