Whether the dreams brought on the fever or the fever brought on the dreams Walter Gilman did not know. Behind everything crouched the brooding, festering horror of the ancient town, and of the mouldy, unhallowed garret gable where he wrote and studied and wrestled with figures and formulae when he was not tossing on the meagre iron bed. His ears were growing sensitive to a preternatural and intolerable degree, and he had long ago stopped the cheap mantel clock whose ticking had come to seem like a thunder of artillery. At night the subtle stirring of the black city outside, the sinister scurrying of rats in the wormy partitions, and the creaking of hidden timbers in the centuried house, were enough to give him a sense of strident pandemonium. The darkness always teemed with unexplained sound, and yet he sometimes shook with fear lest the noises he heard should subside and allow him to hear certain other, fainter noises which he suspected were lurking behind them.

We have all experienced those Moments in Time when everything seems to fall into place, allowing us to experience a blissful moment.

When I first heard this beautiful track from Oliver, my guitar sung the melody you can hear in the second part of the track, almost as if it played itself. The harmony in the repeat of that section, only added to this profound feeling.
I also added a bass guitar and some harp, played on my iPad, using an app (Thumbjam) that allows the arpeggio to sound more natural than when a harp sound is played on a keyboard.

We hope you, dear listener may also experience bliss for a few Moments in Time!

Second Escape is mostly ambient/experimental and focuses on drones and soundscapes. It's all about experimenting and escaping “normal” music forms and rules, building its own “universe of sounds”. Ambient as a genre totally allows freedom for such experiments.
Second Escape is still relatively young music project. By origin, it is the byproduct of “Boyss” and “Boyss-Sound-e-Scapes” projects by Bojan Boyss.
