'Sincopat proudly welcomes back the Brazilian maestro Renato Cohen who delivers a brilliant new EP for the label. Well known for his great stylistic elegance in the search for the beautiness of the endless loop and perfect shapes.

For this new adventure he is accompanied by another great artist like Theus Mago who adds the cherry on top of this timeless release.We have 'Say Yes' to start, which keeps us in tension all the way through. A modern funk piece of masterful simplicity. 

Theus Mago presents a superb remix that captures the essence of the original but bringing it into his own personal style.

To continue, we have 'Piano Fix', an authentic sonorous voyage between styles with a strong Renato's characteristic flavour. A song with plenty of good vibes and a great piano chords on the main drop that leads us to an exciting drop.

This three-track package on DFTD celebrates the 10-year anniversary of 'Suddenly Funk' by Brazilian techno producer Renato Cohen; an addictive, squelching record full of character that incorporates elements of techno, acid and, of course, funk. Now a fresh remix from Ibiza knockout Andrea Oliva updates the classic for 2023 audiences; a rapid, persistent bass drills underneath the busy, acidic textures to create a club-ready cut bursting with energy. Accompanying the release is a remix from one of Amsterdam's finest techno producers, 2000 And One's Lo-Motion Funk Mix evens out the tempo, allowing the funk elements to come to the fore.

One of the most prolific producers in the scene, with 2023’s releases including music on Hot Creations, Too Many Rules and Moon Harbour, Ecuadorian Andre Salmon is keeping things moving through to the close of the year as he continues to showcase his latest studio work. With his up-front, punchy and lively sound finding favour amongst leading names such as Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, his next EP brings the addition of a new label to his ever-growing catalogue as he is welcomed to the consistently excellent Plump Records by Kevin Knapp and Hutchtastic for his ‘Feelings Off The Decks’ EP, comprised of collaborations with Nick Edwards, Cami Jones and Chanel Carmichael.

Opener ‘Your Feelings’ is a squelchy and steaming acid-driven ride into the peak time as he links with Edwards for a bustling and steamy trip, all guided by Jones’ alluring and sultry vocals. Keeping the energy levels high, ‘Turnin’ Off The Decks’ is bubbly and bouncy, with a helter-skelter’esque arrangement and an ever-evolving bassline topped with subtle, trippy vocal interjections, slinking percussion, and spiralling leads for another track crafted for the dancefloor.'

Introducing the entrancing sounds of DeepMe, a rising star hailing from the vibrant city of Los Angeles, as she marks her label debut on Timeless Moment with the enthralling EP, "New Future Unfolds." 

Collaborating with fellow Angeleno vocalist and songwriter Evelynka, the title track unfolds as a mesmerizing melodic journey, where meticulously arranged synths and atmospheres converge with the profound and emotional vocals of Evelynka. A rolling bassline serves as the backbone, creating an immersive sonic experience that resonates with both the heart and the dance floor.

Venturing further into the EP, we encounter the dynamic remix by Georgia-based new talent amesens, making a striking label debut. His interpretation injects a melodic techno vigor into the mix, featuring commanding stabs and pulsating kick drums.

Steeped deep in the waters of memory, Privacy (@privacyprivacy) dreams up visions of electro music's past, present and future on his inaugural EP for TRUST. the revered producer (of Klakson and Klasse Wrecks fame, half of Negroni Nails together with Steffi) channels the energy of his genre-busting DJ journeys into four tracks that straddle a set of influences as diverse as discoid techno, west coast electro, and far fiction dubstep in deliriously asynchronous fashion.

Juno's review : "Privacy bounds into a tenth year of releasing with labels like Klakson, Klasse Wrecks and Cultivated Electronics already under his belt, and now it's the turn of Trust to carry the goods. The goods, as we've come to expect, are high-grade electro and techno with vintage synthesis at their heart. '+(82)' isn't a purely retro track though, but rather it takes a classic Detroit approach and gives it certain discoid shimmer which works a treat. 'Sword, NYC' is a nastier slice of down-low machine funk, while 'Ikebukuro Underground' explores techy 140 in outstanding style. 'Meduse' offers some light relief to play the record out in a more delicate kind of electro style."
