Endless Fluctuations to trzecia część cyklu zapoczątkowanego przez epkę wydaną w Recognition. Jej kontynuacją jest "Futher Fluctuations" – debiutancki album Krzysztofa Ostrowskiego. Nerwowość poprzedniej część tej trylogii przywodzi na myśl bunt sztucznej inteligencji. "Endless Fluctuations" jawi się z kolei jako posthumanistyczna utopia stworzona przez anarchistyczne maszyny. Pomimo rozpadu dawnego porządku panuje wśród nich dziwnie uspokajająca harmonia. Bity postanowiły porzucić kierat tanecznych struktur, a prosty syntezatorowy riff, zamiast zabawiać spoconych bywalców jakiejś dyskoteki z lat 90-tych, wybrał się na wycieczkę w kierunku bezkresnych kosmicznych sfer, by pooddychać czystą metafizyką.

Ostrowski - Noise Induced Transitions [ppt52]

Stockholm-based composer and musician Linus Hillborg has an interest in compositional techniques born out of limited computing power and sample memory. Residue is a collection of weird, darkened and solitary sounds derived from such practices, including soundtracks and ambiences from early bootleg games - heavy on FM-synthesis, repurposed samples and microtonality - as well as music of past presents and future pasts constructed in a similar vein.

'Myself/Other' is the new EP from Queimada, the Valencia-based sound designer and artist Marco Colocci. @queimada77

Following his established musical aesthetic based on massive electroacoustic samples and granular synthesis practice, Queimada shaped a project that conceptually draws from the idea of Id and Es, decomposing himself into the musical process.  The concept’s duality recreates itself in the ontological aspects of the sonic material used in the EP’s compositional process and results in a unique structure that alternates harsh deflagrations and eerie events.

Yidam is a special deity one works with in meditation as a means towards recognizing one’s own awakened nature. I once found a key on the floor of my house, I tried to see if it fit any door, but none opened. In a Buddhist poem, he said that whoever would find a key on the floor without a door was because he was close to opening its interior and dazzling his true self, his own Yidam.

VVTNSS/witness. It's an alter ego of the artist João Pedro Fonseca, founder of ZABRA, where he has the freedom to immerse himself in the musical world of spectra, beats, materials and experimentalisms, where they dialogue in a dimension beyond the body and the sensation, transposing us to a telluric current of doubts and faith.

♥ 18 - Yidam's Key - VVTNSS

@salllvage (Rowan Savage) is a proud Kombumerri First Nations man living on Gadigal Land ('Sydney,' 'Australia'). He is a producer, DJ and dancer working at the intersection of queer club culture and connection with Country. He uses field recordings from Kombumerri Country ('Gold Coast') to make experimental electronic music. His DJ sets fuse underground influences from across the globe with a strong First Nations sensibility. He is influenced by Indigenous Futurisms, and by an ongoing engagement with vogue and ballroom culture. His art aims to inhabit and bridge the tensions between abstraction and emotion, the wild bush and the dancefloor, the personal and the social, authenticity and reconstruction.

What was a crucial sound experience in your life?
The moment I heard Lechuga Zafiro create a beat from water; the moment I read David Toop describe noise itself as a haunting; and most of all, the moment I understood that sound could be a path back to Culture.
