This song came from a place deep inside me…
a place that’s been bruised, healed, broken again,
and somehow still believes in love.

I wrote “Love Me As I Am” because for so long
I thought I had to change myself
just to fit into someone else’s world.
I dimmed my light,
softened my voice,
shrunk my heart,
and hid the fire inside me
just to be accepted.

But the truth is…
that kind of love isn’t love at all.

The real turning point in my life
was the moment someone finally looked at me
and didn’t ask me to be less.
Didn’t ask me to hide.
Didn’t want a prettier version,
a quieter version,
a safer version.

They wanted me —
the real me.
The messy, emotional, passionate,
loyal, chaotic, heart-on-my-sleeve me.

And that changed everything.

when someone sees your soul
without you having to explain it.
When they love the parts you once tried to bury.
When they hold your truth
instead of asking you to edit it.

It’s powerful.
It’s freeing.
It’s terrifying.
And it’s beautiful.

This is a reminder:
