Ukrainian megastar Spartaque makes his long overdue return to Respekt with this charging two-tracker. Lead track “Do It Right” barrels along, playing metallic clanks off against a skipping synth sequence and vocal snips. Chicago Loop shuffles the pack, making more of the vocal and injecting some skip and swing into the synths. Rounding the package out is “Never Say No”, a deeper slice of Techno, with moody pads and voices to suck you in.

The new Intec release is from British born Rebecca Godfrey who is better known to Techno fans as BEC via her seminal releases on Pan-Pots label Second State. Now living in Berlin, BEC has received critical acclaim from publications like Pulse Magazine who recently listed her alongside the likes of Helena Hauff, Dasha Rush and Rebekah as one of The Underground's 10 Leading Ladies. BEC has a great future ahead as she continues to make waves and plays gigs everywhere from London to Hong Kong. Including a release on Hydrozoa this is only her second release outside of Second State, and Intec are honoured to welcome her to the family. Starting with pulsating synths "Forwards" builds with tightly sequenced percussion. The lead synths uplifting notation is offset by eerie bass stabs, and these contrasting moods combine to create captivating tension. Stripped back with subtlety at its core, this techno track takes control without you even knowing it's got you under its spell. Track two "Motion" has a clatter of metallic claps and morphing synths that ripple and shimmer. Understated with a hypnotic groove, the mechanical rhythms flow with precision engineering and attention to detail. Like lemon sorbet, this is the perfect palette cleaner, but can also be served as a bitter sweet dessert.

It’s very rare for us to release an EP from an artist who has not graced the label with a track on a VA or a remix. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. For this release we turn to the formidable Industrialyzer who rose to stardom after his collaborations with The Advent and massive releases for Synewave, Rhythm Converted and Kombination Research to name a few.
For his contribution to Second State he delivers two stunning and hard-edged tunes on his ‘Solid Buzz’ EP where edgy industrial sounds blend with euphoric melodies creating unforgettable dancefloor moments not for the faint of heart. On the self-titled ‘Solid Buzz’ hi-pace percussion and a heavy palette of sound balance perfectly with enchanting arps to deliver a beautiful cut merging vintage Industrial-Techno with post-modern production techniques. Switching to the B-Side sees Industrialyzer take a similar approach, yet the track shines in the call and response of wicked drums and crisp cymbals conceiving a full throttle assault of warehouses for the unforeseeable future. Crossing his way from solfege and trumpet conservatory classes to the most popular underground clubs of Techno scene Pablo's music reflects his mind set as an artist: a wide style, with no boundaries, that currently spins around underground sounds, close to techno. As DJ, Pablo has left his mark in clubs as Barcelona’s elrow, Privilege and Sankeys in Ibiza, London’s Lightbox, Mono Bar in Moscow, beside important performances in Hungary, Bulgary and, most recently, in electronic music strongholds as Chicago, demonstrating that he’s also a master behind the decks.
Thanks to his production skills as well as performances all around the world, Pablo Say is one of the strongest breakthrough talents for the recent years. Better watch closely his two amazing tracks - "Attention" and "Under Disco"!
