Dast joins the Second State Audio family with his latest work "Shadow Roots“ EP, a journey in the realms of techno and house, marking the 126th release of the imprint of Germany’s most beloved Techno duo Pan-Pot. 

"Shadow Roots" showcases Dast's sonic evolution, offering a 3-trackers that navigates the intricate spaces between house and techno. This EP not only reflects Dast's roots in the vibrant musical culture of Naples but also his journey through the electronic music landscape. 

The opening track, "Parentesi" is a darker techno cut, showcasing his storytelling skills with a fast tempo, pulsating leads and a rolling groove, underscoring Dast's versatility and innovative approach to music production. Following, "I Can't Get" captivates with hypnotic drum breaks and repeating chopped vocals, enriched by dreamy pads that maintain the EP's thematic blend. Concluding the EP, the title track „Shadow Roots" sets the tone with its energetic piano chords and an emotional narrative, balanced with a classic drum groove and atmospheric vocals. This track masterfully bridges house warmth with techno's drive, creating a unique "power house" vibe.

This 6-track journey dives deep into the realms of techno, showcasing Nojre's innovative fusion of aggressive basslines, cinematic melodies, and hypnotic grooves that engage and captivate from start to finish.

The journey begins with ‘Euphoria’, a track that commands attention with its aggressive bassline and distorted vocal shots, laying down a punchy groove that's both edgy and immersive. Following this, ‘I Broke Your Speaker’ emerges as a techno gem, its clear and minimal groove and robotic, down-pitched vocal setting the dancefloor ablaze. ‘Not So Different’ transitions the mood to an epic, melody-driven journey, with its lead synth and cinematic ambiance perfectly suited for the dancefloor. ‘Hermenautik’ ventures into a more psychedelic territory, featuring a rolling bassline and acid 303 sequences that create a mesmerizing soundscape, complemented by a melodic arpeggio. Say What? is back with a release from young Italian producer Jacopo Susini, previously released on labels like On Edge Society and Complexed Records, who delivers us now 4 insane groovers that are made to burn the floor!

We start with 'Non-Stop' - a four-to-the-floor banger that invites you to a journey through the depths of pulsating beats, hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric vibes. A testament to Susini’s unparalleled creativity and his ability to create the perfect dancefloor gems to serve as a secret weapon in your music arsenal!

Next up is 'Dissident' that pulsates raw energy and creativity with the frenetic rhythms and old-school synth work, creating a sense of euphoria impossible to resist. As the layers of sound build and evolve, the track takes you on a ride of intensity, culminating in a cathartic release of pure techno energy.

Third track on the release is 'Something', which melodies intertwine with driving rhythms and a vocal that teleports you to a realm where anything is possible serving as a perfect addition to this mesmerising EP.

I am very proud to present you Tronic's 500th release. When I started the label close to 30 years ago, I never thought that it would reach such a milestone. There have been many highs and lows, but what kept us going was the true passion for honest house and techno and always trying to push forward! This release features three of my tracks as well as a remix from techno OG Joey Beltram. Our next release makes its ascension into the release limelight. This one coming from label owner Atragun and his long time friend Emran Badalov under his Second Mars guise. Featured on his newest artist album Pictures Of You, Ascension served as one of the intro tracks to help set the atmosphere and tone for the album with its dreamy progressive backdrop, heavenly like melodies and powerful vigor!

On remix duties for this heavenly release is Argentina native Rodrigo Deem, who blesses listeners with a remix that retains the spirit of the original while offering an extra dose of zeal that will without a doubt win over those who have the chance to have these sounds happen upon their ears.
