In for their next release is a single from the amicable and adroit Anna Reusch. Anna defines sedulousness - she has a relentless work ethic and a back catalogue to prove it. Her music has been released through labels such as Variety Music, Tronic, Skull & Bones and Riot Recordings and her latest offering for Kuukou presents her in her finest form.
Proving the theory that less is more - this is a one-track single which cuts straight to the point and slots perfectly into the Kuukou catalogue. A firm, rubbery kick, side-chained vocals and rich vintage synth tones roll steadily - all punctuated by vocal snippets designed to send a spark up the dance floor.
The track gently grows and develops into an emotional trip - one that's guaranteed to keep momentum up but also inflict some deep, guttural sentiment. This is a track that can slot in at any time - just as effective during early doors, peak time or the dying embers of the night.

The art of putting together a well-rounded release is maybe one of the lesser-mentioned causalities of the digital music era. Back when artists released EP’s on vinyl it was a given that there would be a main floor track, something maybe more melodic/minimal/funky etc and possibly a track that was totally different, hidden away as the B2 track. Nowadays, in the modern music market, where immediacy is increasingly becoming the main driving forces behind success, the unspoken etiquette of programming an EP begins to loose its relevance to the consumer. A theory that would appear to be backed up by how music producers habits have evolved within this new business environment, with more and more single-track submissions and a focus on delivering stand-out tracks that demand tastemaker attention during their peak time sets.

Contained within this eleven-track compilation is a collection of tracks submitted to Drumcode as demos but which didn’t have other tracks to be partnered with to make up a classical Drumcode EP. Such was the quality and quantity of these stunning one-off tracks that the idea of making them into a compilation was born primarily for practical reasons. As the project grew the idea became a theme and the theme evolved into a finished project – A-Sides - which tells both the story of Drumcode’s recent past with familiarly high-octane tracks from Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Gary Beck, Gregor Tresher and Dustin Zahn & Rachel Palmer but also gives a glance into what is to come as the likes of Patrick Siech, Luigi Madonna, Roberto Capuano, Dhillon and Manic Brothers get their chance to contribute to the shaping Drumcode’s future.

Following the success of the duo’s ‘Forte’ album earlier this year, Pan-Pot’s highly esteemed Second State label is thrilled to announce the release of the 13th edition of the ‘SUM’ various artist compilation. As a celebration of Techno music, this compilation showcases the genre’s finest, promising to leave a lasting impression on enthusiasts worldwide.

The tracklist, curated with precision, features a diverse range of artists, each contributing unique sounds that encapsulate the soul of techno music. The compilation initiates with the pulsating energy of “Warehouse Impulse” by Audio State, setting a high-octane tone from the outset. Ben Champell’s “Give Me That” follows, with its raw and powerful sound captivating listeners. The hypnotic journey continues with “Basic Instinct” by Bruce Zalcer, showcasing intricate melodies and driving rhythm. Chris Hirose & RNDTXTR collaborate on “Sits,” a track that fuses deep basslines with harsh percussion and pulsating synth stabs to create a mesmerising atmosphere.

The middle of the compilation is marked by the spell-casting sounds of “Keep Dancing” by Katnada, followed by “You Will Not Colonize” by Kmyle, which exemplifies the genre’s rebellious spirit. Kristian Heikkila’s “Craft,” M.F.S Observatory’s “Interstellar,” and Procombo’s “Freaks” each add a unique flavour to the compilation, pushing the boundaries of Techno. Ramon Tapia’s “DSP Engine” and Wigbert’s “Delayed” conclude the compilation emphatically with a duo of tracks that champion the true versatility of Techno as one of the world’s most celebrated musical concepts.

Each track on ‘SUM’ Vol. 13 highlights the distinctiveness of the artist’s sound while maintaining a cohesive flow. Nightcode was born during a blackout in a neon-drenched city, when Pan-Pot, deep in a late-night modular synth session, accidentally intercepted a signal from a defunct satellite looping alien rave transmissions. As the data warped their machines, every dial and fader moved on its own, channeling a hypnotic rhythm no human had ever programmed. The storm outside cracked in sync with the beat, and the studio lights pulsed like they were under the track's spell. Desperate to capture it before it vanished, they recorded the entire session through a toaster, a walkman, and sheer panic. By dawn, the signal was gone-but Nightcode lived, encoded with a frequency not even they fully understood.

Backspin – the imprint launched by Regal as a love letter to early 2000s Hardgroove – welcomes techno titan Marco Bailey with the 'Drivetonik' EP: a powerful blend of past and present that pays homage to Hardgroove's golden era while keeping the focus firmly on today's dancefloors.

The EP opens with the title track 'Drivetonik', a brand-new production that sets the tone: raw, rolling and built to move bodies. A straight-up Hardgroove banger, it's Bailey at his most focused. All momentum, no compromise. What follows is a rare treat for longtime heads: three classic tracks, originally released on the legendary Primate Recordings, now freshly remastered for 2025. 'Hustler' brings the bounce with its infectious and instantly effective sound. 'Karma' leans into tribal rhythms and percussive layering, while 'Konverter' cuts through with synth stabs and vocal chops, offering a punchy, streamlined ride through early-2000s funk. To close things out, Swedish Hardgroove legend Hertz steps in to rework 'Konverter', injecting his signature style into a remix that's as crisp as it is driving, a perfect fusion of old-school grit and modern precision.

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born.

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

The digital version also features a bonus track; 'A Further Existence'.
