Lara Luna convey dramatic emotions in melodic and ambitious rock songs that aim towards large audiences. A balance between soft ballads and heavy guitar riffs in an accessible expression. The lyrics encompass all spectres of the barometer of love, as well as the thoughts and inner turmoil that people usually deal with in silence. Lara Luna’s inspiration is found in bands that honour the timeless playfulness of rock, like Biffy Clyro, Turboweekend, Mew and Spleen United.

Lara Luna was formed in Odense, Denmark in 2020 during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic by twin brothers Jonathan and Sebastian Kjærulff Jensen alongside good friends Asger Demant Olin and Christoffer Birkeholm Leth. The absence of concerts in the early 2020 gave the group time to invest themselves fully in their songwriting and find their sound.
