DE$iGNATED are 19 year old London DJ / producer duo Nima Bazrcar & Rory Bowyer, who are no strangers to the dance music scene.

In their short career to date, DE$iGNATED have featured on a plethora of radio guest mixes, including several for Cameo on Radio 1Xtra (their latest only two weeks ago on 29/05/14 when the boys debut tracks from this new EP) & Sinden on Kiss FM. As well as strong online support for music channels Majestic Casual, The Sound You Need, SubSoul and Fhinq, to name a few.

DESiGNATED have had their remixes supported on the likes of Radio 1 (Annie Nightingale played their Rufus "Desert Storm" remix) & Capital Xtra (Coco Cole supported their Arlissa "You're Not Alone" remix) amongst others & have already topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Dance Chart c/o their massive Beyonce & Rihanna remixes too.

Now Nima & Rory prepare to release their debut DE$iGNATED "Valentine EP" on Pilot Records.

Porta Alpina is the follow up to Lex, the brilliant debut EP from Transmission Collective. Featuring two original tracks from one third of the collective, Maru, along with remixes from the other two thirds, Kahwe and Wolf Cub, it further showcases the trio’s forward thinking, soulful take on house music.

Porta combines a shimmering melody with a contemporary take on old school house percussion, wound together beautifully around an infectious vocal sample – all you have to do is say yes. Second track Alpina is another slick piece of deep, dancefloor friendly house music, effortlessly blending dreamy vocal snippets with punchy percussion and some killer low end to create an absolute bomb.

On remix duties are label co-chiefs Kahwe and Wolf Cub, who remix Porta and Alpina respectively. Kahwe highlights the peak-time potential of Porta with his remix, kicking the percussion up a notch and twisting the vocal sample in the brilliant breakdown. Meanwhile Wolf Cub takes things deeper with his take on Alpina, stripping it bare before the brooding bass stabs kick back in to turn the track into a serious late night jam.

The Fat! Club EP 002 follows on from our hugely popular first EP last month, with another stellar five track mini-compilation, showcasing tracks from some of the UK’s most exciting underground producers.

Established in 1997, The Fat! Club encompasses a record label, blog, club night and management agency. This long running commitment to UK underground music has seen Chew The Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe, and five consecutive summer residencies at We Love…Space Ibiza.

Now more than ever the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats, and The Fat! Club is as passionate as ever about new talent.

Opening the second EP we have London based Vice City who impressed us recently with their first track Fever (which is forthcoming on Retrospekt Records), so we had to get them on this EP with 'Luv Lyk Diz B4' sampling the gorgeous Faith Evans and a clever intro from Nina Kraviz.

Up next is Preston's Taneli and his massive track 'You're The One' which has been doing the rounds for the past few months with Eton Messy, Fhinq Music and countless other imitators.

On a slightly more techno tip we have Fixtyone27 resident Gage from Bristol and his acid banger 'Burnin'.
Beach Justice lights up proceedings on his big room stomper 'That Feeling', with some lovely top lines throughout.
Finally, but certainly by no means least we have Johnbear and Bria with their take on Janet Jackson's 'Someone To Call My Lover'.
