Earth-based producer Perseid is not easily categorized. Drawing from a wide array of influences with a predilection for psychedelic sounds and bass-heavy electronica he has always thrived in the in-betweens of dusty vinyl collections, looking at the oddball records not belonging to one genre or the other. Perseid puts atmosphere and tribalistic dancefloor vibes first and foremost – everything else is just an ever-changing iridescent coat of paint designed to dazzle, envelop and surprise the listener.
 
Music is my Garden Eden is his first EP out in the open after years of behind closed-doors experiments. Five tracks full of personality, one more different than the other but all reflecting a shared global human folklore, rife with emotion from introspection to ecstasy but never bound to a certain place or time. Every song represents a multitude of cultures and influences to create something greater: music for the omni-culture of a future humanity where borders cease to exist and differences enrich, not separate.
