Loxxe (Laura Elliot) is an emerging, Toronto-based techno and house DJ currently playing a versatile range of sounds on dance floors across the city. Her selections are dreamy and melodic, yet can also be hard and driving, or take a left turn toward acid or broken beats. She’s gearing up for a busy summer of bookings with Wiggly's Playground Festival, Nitebeat Radio and Promise Cherry Beach just to name a few. Though fairly new to the scene, Loxxe is a lifelong lover of music. She broke into the DJ world after living in Osaka, where she immersed herself in the party city’s energy and intensity. Living around the world has broadened her style, which is clearly evident in the diverse sounds she creates. Loxxe is also currently a member of The Local Group and Lustre DJ collectives. Passionate, innovative, and keen to share the sounds she loves, she also works as an illustrator, creating colorful, striking images that depict daily life. Michael cultivated his love of electronic music through exposure to the Toronto rave scene in mid 1990s. A low-key, dub techno local staple, he has been playing music for friends since 2001 and has recently hosted small one-off events at intimate local venues with likeminded compatriots The Local Group. His musical taste focuses on the playful intersection between techno and house, and he looks forward to sharing his sound at Secret Society.

Secret Society Sessions is a show broadcasted live every Wednesday 6-9pm.

Our goal is to provide the atmosphere for a regular gathering that revolves around our love for music and the celebration of getting over the hump of the week. Come early, spend a few hours with your friends listening to artistically curated sounds and go home happy, proving that a night out does not have to be followed by a day in.

This is more than a radio show… it is a social collective for people at play. We invite you for after work drinks, food and games!
