Eevee is so talented and both her sample selection and chopping and drum work are extraordinary.

I started listening in 2017 and fell in love with her music. She definitely inspired my interest in music back then.

She chops sampled melodies in 16 beat segments and blends them together while adding effects to create a beautiful, heart-wrenching beats.

Endless

It's been about 3 years since my first EP. I've learnt a lot about life and music since then and I think it is time to release a second project which I've been working extremely hard towards finishing. It's an EP which is a sonic representation of some pretty dark seasons of life I've been going through, which completely destroyed the joy which I knew as a child. Although difficult, I have recently found a very special light within myself and the world around me which this EP travels towards and represents. I put all of this loss and discovery into sound and am very proud to announce my second EP entitled 'Blinded By Darkness'. 

The majority of this project is derived from Iphone microphone piano recordings. It was interesting and challenging to turn the somewhat less than stellar quality recordings into a usable piece of audio.

The last release of the year for Secret Souls is from myself, eevee, the founder and curator. I wonder // lost your love is a surprising drum and bass track but with my signature lofi sound and angelic chorus. This style is characteristic of my label, which is a curation of new styles of electronic music from my close friends and fellow producers. I'm showing that neither me, nor my label, are conforming to any one style, all while maintaining a certain aesthetic that can only be defined as eevee.
