In order to give everyone a feel for what to expect from their first four track EP on our own Vibesey Records we have asked the guys to mix up some vintage favourites, brand new bangers and exclusive dubplates.

First up with have Jay Ward, having released outstanding EP’s on the likes of Strictly House Abd Garage, Strictly Flava & Rhythm Vibe. His expert blend of deep vibes and bumpy beats have been extremely well received both digitally and on vinyl.

For those that dont know Speed Garage is essentially a combination of the US Garage sound mixed with Jungle influences from the UK, using a 4x4 beat with dub sound effects and a heavy bassline. These tunes still sound fresh today and its influences are still felt today within the UK Garage, House and Dubstep scene.

After mixing my first "Speed Garage Classics" mix a good 10 years or so ago and putting it up on soundcloud, I thought I'd finally put together Part 2. The first mix has received a lot love over the past 10 years, that was a live recorded mix and I just uploaded it for friends to listen to. I'm happy that it's got so many people enjoying the old tracks again!

Part 2 contains some well known tracks in there, but also digging a little deeper through my collection. I decided to start of with more vocal garage, and then hit into that circa 97 loop da loop style stuff later on. Which got a lot of play back in the day from the likes of Judge Jules and Pete Tong. Anyway the same rule applies, nothing a day after 2000!
