Back to 93 vinyl set. There are some tracks from late 92 included also but for me the vibe in this set is how I remember this incredible year from a raving perspective. Such great memories of this point in time when the UK rave scene was shifting from Breakbeat Hardcore into Jungle and early D&B. Track-list below.

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting figures to arise within Drum & Bass over the past decade, Rouen Wilkins, also known as Voltage, has carved his way to becoming one of the most valued artists in the scene. With a style so versatile yet so distinct, it’s no surprise that Voltage finds himself championing the modern sounds of Drum & Bass as a highly respected pioneer and industry figurehead. He's made so many waves that he's crowned as DnB royalty - Voltage makes up 1/3 of Kings of the Rollers, alongside Serum and Bladerunner.

For the special set, we we're celebrating his NEW release "Mousetrap / Champion Ting" which launched his label - Nice n Decent.  

The set starts off with him playing a load of reggae on 7 inch vinyl and then swiftly progresses into him dropping DnB bangers!! What a day we had in store!

Thumpa - We Call It Jump Up Jungle Vol 3

Evolution, an event that originally ran from The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes before moving to Peterborough later in it's life. The event was incredibly popular with the promoters of Evolution (from memory Dave and Mel) selling out to capacity and obtaining sponsorship from Sony in relation to their original PlayStation console.
 
This was probably the first ever over 14's event in the UK for jungle, happy hardcore, techno and drum and bass lovers and looking back, we were all incredibly spoilt with the DJ and MCs that were booked.
