Throughout the beginning of 2014, I crafted and designed a body of recorded work that was inspired by the concept of conveying an architectural design through sound. Ten songs were recorded/produced, mixed, mastered, where each work explored components of an architectural design by friend and Brisbane architect, Lily Parson. I explored textures, contrasts between light and dark, spaces, elevation and depression in sound, shifting energies, sonic imagery and emotional portrayal. Some of these songs were co-written by myself and my brother, in relation to the concept and project. I have attached a few of these works in this playlist.
