บทความนี้ผมได้สัมภาษณ์คุณวีรภัทร์ สุขศิริ ซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกจาก UC Berkeley ที่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับโลก ในหัวข้อที่คุณวีรภัทรเชี่ยวชาญและทำวิจัยมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเนื้อหาจะเกี่ยวกับความแตกต่างของคำว่า Measurement Assessment และ Evaluation รวมถึงการวัดสิ่งที่วัดได้ยาก เช่น Competency หรือ ความพึงพอใจ ลองฟังกันเผื่อนำไปปรับใช้ในการทำงานได้ครับ

Venstres næstformand Inger Støjberg har kastet sit parti ud i en dyb krise. Konklusionen i Instrukskommissionens første delberetning er nådesløs klar: Som tidligere udlændingeminister har Støjberg bevidst givet en ulovlig instruks, og derfor risikerer hun nu at blive stillet for en rigsret – et skæbnesvangert spørgsmål, der flækker Venstre på langs. I ugens løb blev rådvildheden og partiformand Jakob Ellemann-Jensens stadig større usikkerhed udstillet, da Venstre helt bizart valgte at stå uden for et ellers populært politiforlig. Særligt Konservatives formand Søren Pape Poulsen nyder godt af nedsmeltningen i Venstre. Præcis som det i sin tid skete med Tamilsagen, hvor Konservative blev mindre end Venstre, kan styrkeforholdet i blå blok igen være ved at ændre sig, blot med omvendt fortegn – nu med Konservative på vej tilbage i storebror-rollen. Statsminister Mette Frederiksen kan dog være allermest tilfreds med udviklingen på Christiansborg: Socialdemokratiet har igen rekordhøj opbakning i meningsmålinger – uden reelle udfordrere. Thomas Qvortrup stiller spørgsmålene. Politisk kommentator Lars Trier Mogensen har svarene.

Støjberg river Venstre midt over

I added some eurorack modified trumpet, which allowed me to bring out my inner Miles Davis, kinda Bitches Brew style. Had a ton of fun with this one.

The name comes from a James Acaster joke, commenting on how weird it is that so many cartoon teeth have teeth. This kind of brain train can reminds me of that style of music. It probably makes the most sense when you're on drugs, or wish you were.

Do The Tooth Teeth Have Teeth Too? [disquiet0474]

The first thing that stuck out to me from this image was the traffic, so I got some traffic samples. The balconies made me think of replicating the moment of hearing other people in the distance/through walls/in an obfuscated way so I downloaded samples of people talking. All the samples are from freesound.

The image has a haunting, distant quality to it, something I wanted to capture with a synth. I played around with the Applied Acoustics Systems Ultra Analog Session plugin in Ableton and I quite liked the synthy sound of it. The bit at the end is the same synth but pitched down. 

All the samples have a low-pass filter applied, the vocal samples have multiple echos, delays and instances of Multiband Dynamics to create a distant, removed feeling to it. I chopped up some bits from the traffic samples and spread them through the song.
