J.Rich is a producer from the North Carolina area, who has a passion for music and likes to occasionally step to the mic. He has been involved in music his entire life and also has family members who are involved in music as well. J.Rich is currently working on embellishing a Boom Bap style in his work, where as his earlier projects contained a mixture of both commercial Rap and R&B elements. J. Rich is heavily inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, The Sylvers, and James Brown, just to name a few. His debut project entitled “Prelude to R.I.P.” was released in 2009, his 2012 follow up was entitled “Realmatic”. R.I.P. is the acronym for his brand Remnants of an Imperfect Past, which was inspired by real life experiences. He has gone by several stage names such as: Whokid (2008-2010), JDynasty (2010-2015) and currently JaeRhen / J.Rich (2015-).
