About the Show:
Songs from the Attic is an hour long radio show featuring the music of Billy Joel. Melissa Midgley, a Syracuse area radio personality and lifelong Billy Joel fan, will be your host taking you on a musical journey though Billy’s vast catalog. The show will feature rare tracks, compilations, interviews, live recordings and some of Billy Joel’s biggest radio hits. Also featured, will be music from his band members and the projects they have been a part of. Tune in each week to hear songs from the man who wrote the soundtrack to so many lives, Mr. Billy Joel.

Brooklyn born and bred artist Edson Sean is on a mission to bring authentic musicality back to the forefront. His music video for the single “Stupid Me” from his latest album “The Pursuit of Magic” has been in regular rotation on VH1 Soul in preparation for the next true sound in Hip-Hop/Soul. Having released 2 albums under his previous moniker "Omni Blaize," Edson set out to demolish the divide between his on and offstage persona, hence the name change. “The Pursuit of Magic” is his most personal work to date and the ‘Magic’ referenced in the album’s title represents love in its many forms: good love, lost love, misguided love, and even community love. 

I'm a professional vocalist who's strengths include: a wide vocal range, broad versatility of style, dynamic stage presence, and ability to harmonize and blend well.  I currently perform with a band of music professionals who have been together for over 8 years.  We are an 8-13 piece wedding/corporate event band.  I also fill in for other area bands when I am available.

Classically trained tenor who loves Billy Joel and deeply profound schmaltz.
