the Violet Veil EP marks the debut release from Larkhall
Paul, an exciting new talent from Bath, showcased by DI
Co-owner 16 Faces. This collaborative project dives into
the realms of UK bass experiments, offering a fresh and
compelling sound.

Mastered by the talented brothers at Tangible Air, the EP
boasts a heavyweight low end that enhances its
exploration of mysterious and secret prophecies, said to
echo through the ancient town of Delphi.
Each track is unified by the ambiguity of its garage-style
chopped and screwed vocals, along with funk-infused
purple synths, pads, and a rumbling low end—perfect for
a ritual club experience.

One part Neo-Grime, one part Bristol’s purple-step, with
just a dash of autonomic sexiness, Behind the Violet Veil
presents a unique sonic journey.

Two tracks are cut onto 7” dub, with a third included
as a bonus digital track.

Belgian-Caribbean provocateur Charlotte Adigéry and her long-term musical partner, Bolis Pupul release their phenomenal debut album Topical Dancer via Soulwax’s iconic label DEEWEE.
 
Cultural appropriation and racism. Social media vanity. Post-colonialism and political correctness. These are not talking points that you’d ordinarily hear on the dancefloor but Charlotte and Bolis have ripped up the rulebook with their debut record. Featuring standout singles ‘Blenda’, ‘HAHA’, ‘Thank You’, ‘Ceci n’est pas un cliche’ and today’s focus track ‘Making Sense Stop’, Topical Dancer - which cements Charlotte and Bolis as a duo under both their names for the first time and is co-written and co-produced by Soulwax – is both a triumph of kaleidoscopic electro-pop and “a snapshot of how we think about pop culture in the 2020s.”

Hello dear listeners, Your Character presents new premiere


An international collaboration between two producers, which was born despite 9212 km distance between Vilnius and Khabarovsk. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome”, debut EP “Smoke These” and fresh “Main Goal” EP on PZ Records. Shit Control (Rodion Kirsanov) is an emerging producer from Khabarovsk city located at Amur river next to the most eastern border of China. Synthesizers lover and co-founder of the local underground music movement Tom Tom was already recognized by label CYBERJIT. The shape of “Krug” EP was started in Shit Control’s studio, topped up by 5ZYL in Vilnius, spiced up with False Persona remix in Bournemouth (UK) and mastered by Assembler Code in Sydney (Australia). Perfect testimony, that music is an international language without physical, cultural and worldview boundaries.

Relentless baselines, driving kicks and strangely infused percussive rhythms, topped with clusters of hi-hats and vocals that run seductively through the tracks, form the main theme in NOËTIK‘‘s productions. Combined with some playful synthesizers, this release is all about the diverse interpretation of techno music. The whole thing is underpinned with a seductive and groovy remix by a promising artist. The bonus track shows a much slower side of NOËTIK with a deep and dubby trip into atmospheric pads and synths for some thoughtful moments in the early hours. This marks NOËTIK‘s debut EP release on Magdeburg‘s MODEM:39 label.
