Stina a newcomer on the scene from Lithuania found herself learning how to mix and develop her own style largely due to lockdown life. With only 1yr experience behind the decks her dedication to researching producers, digging tunes and building up her own music collection is already apparent in her vibin’ and diverse mixes. A raver and dnb lover, dnb was naturally her starting point but she is keen to not be defined by genre or bpm and continue to experiment and develop as a DJ. 
For the future, she is looking forward to the day she can play her first live set and create her own vibes for a dance floor.

Myoptik has been making mad music since the 90s. A lifetime of jams, collaborations & live performances inform his refreshing, sometimes obtuse, take on electronic sound. His releases for many labels, inc his own Ping-Discs, reflect some of the more harnessed offerings that have spewed out of his refracted sound-world.

Pingdiscs is Myoptik's label for exciting, happy and outrageous music. Many excellent artists have been part of Pingdiscs over the years, not least through the series of great compilations. There are also solo releases from a wide range of Pingdiscs affiliated artists. Expect variety, much of it electronic, but certainly not always, none of it normal....

Bern's @phrex brings two mesmerising dub-esque cuts to imprint NILE. As mysterious as this record is, the sonics are dedicated to the Syrian uprise of nine years ago. It's around this time when the Syrian regime went berserk.

A lovely offering of Switzerland's Dub-oriented producer, who seems to pop up with the weight once and a while. Note: Besides the Syrian vibes, this limited pressing includes a little surprise at the end of the record.

The latest outing from Swiss label re:st sees the return of incredibly talented Brussels-based producer Owl. After releasing the critically acclaimed album 'Infinite Horizon' just a few weeks ago on Silent Season, Owl is back with another astounding release, a four-tracker EP - 'Unknown Area.' 
In 'Unknown Area,' Owl explores darker sides of ambient, halftime drum & bass, and leftfield. Our premiere for today, 'Shifting Zone' is a hypnotic, eerie halftime drum & bass driven by the powerful kick drum, haunting metallic pads, and trippy melody that creates quite an ominous atmosphere that craves dark dance floors. 
'Unknown Area' is coming out on February 19th via re:st.
