SEGO is a collaborative project between two DJ-and-producers from Jakarta, Andre Dunant and Jim Geovedi, born through the pressures and inescapable need to run a household and find a handful of rice, so to speak. Unwilling to choose the darker paths as an alternative job, although they do seem a lot more attractive, they chose to optimistically embark on creating something that is both new and entertaining. Thus, a sleek, new project is born. The name is "SEGO", or rice, in the Javanese language.
        
        Both hailed from two very distinct musical backgrounds, each with his own very extensive repertoire. Based on Techno and House music as their primary element, they have successfully incorporated elements of Jazz, Hip-hop, Broken Beat, Pop and Rock to create an exciting new art form. Boundaries have also been crossed to introduce the expansive notes the Indonesian traditional music heritage into their music, thus introducing a uniquely rich and sumptuous sound.

Astropony's musical odyssey began in Lille, France, in the early 2000s, when he debuted on Radio Galaxie. It then spread to Paris and Belgium, in clubs such as “At The Villa”, the “Zoo Club” and the “Nox club”.

Inspired by artists such as DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter and Moodymann, Astropony adds his own New Wave, Disco and Soul influences to distill a groovy, uncompromising house sound.

Hi, I'm Alland and I like making and collecting music. I was born and raised in LA, moved to SF in 2003 where my friends and I hosted a big, fancy, well-known techno party at a legendary club called The Endup.

After seven wild years in the Bay I moved to Berlin and some fun stuff happened. Got an album out on Third Ear Recordings, some singles and EPs on Room With A View, Dirt Crew, Poker Flat, Rawax, Housewax and some other nice labels. Had a couple residencies in clubs and radio stations. A couple of my best mates and I started a band project called KAMM, and together we released two albums. The first came out on Marcel Vogel's fine Intimate Friends label, and the sophomore LP on France's legendary Circus Company. See? Fun stuff happened!

These days I spend most of my time in my nice little home studio, I'm the Art Director at Beatport, have my own indie label called Full Bleed Sound, I buy synths I can't afford and I'd most likely like to pet your dog.

Since being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's, David has been hooked. At the age of 15 he started DJing and playing out at local underground events and raves around the Southern California area. You would've found him spinning various styles from house, acid, & techno to hardcore techno.

After years of DJing he then decided to learn to produce his own music, which landed him his first releases on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & local label Droid Recordings. Since being associated with local event production group Droid Behavior in 2003, you can find him as a resident at the infamous Interface warehouse events as well as a regular producer for Droid Recordings. Over the years his music has gained worldwide attention and onto the playlists of many big players which eventually led him to gigs at some of the worlds biggest clubs including Berghain in Berlin and Fabric in London. He is also now regularly touring all over the world in Australia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Central & South America, all throughout Europe and the U.S.A.

In early 2011 he started a project called 'Truncate' which focuses on the deeper, and more raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been gain support from big players such as, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is no slowing down in the near future for David as he continues to shape his own sound, putting Droid Behavior and Los Angeles on the techno map
