An up and comer in the Calgary music scene, Lainey Kate (previously known at KVTE) has been taking dance floors by storm with her eclectic sounds. Dancing through the sounds of tech house, techno, acid, breakbeat, progressive, and deep house, her ability to take the crowd through many emotions has made her a true stand out performer. She has gained the respect and support of many DJs early in her career by showcasing her track selection skills and sharp ear for high energy mixes. 

Opening up for artists such as Qrion, Sam Divine, Offaiah, Return of the Jaded, SIVZ, Le Youth, and Justin Jay, her shows have taken her all the way to Texas where she has played events alongside the likes of Talldoor Records and Apogee Presents. She made her festival debuts at Badlands Music Festival 2021, as well as Chasing Summer Family Reunion 2021 and was invited to play at Martian Arts Festival in San Marcos, Texas in 2022. Lainey Kate is currently affiliated and can be seen playing shows with Blueprint, Technu, Beehive Presents, Refract and Rated Ultra Lounge.
