We are pleased to share with you our next chapter that in our opinion truly defines a concept of deep techno nowadays. 6 original tracks crafted to perfection with fine balance between groove and darkness of the genre. We are also very happy to host the man behind VAULT Budapest project who currently resides in Berlin CVRDWELL with a heavyweight remix of track called '80 hours' and quality deep interpretation of 'Otherwordly Sounds' by Garden Of Edann.

Artist's profile:
Quinten Samson aka. SAMSQN is an Amsterdam based artist who started DJing in 2014. Since then he has played in a wide range of clubs, like: Chicago Social Club, Club NL, VLLA, Wester Unie, JACK, Panama and De Kraan.

After DJing for a year he soon discovered the art of producing. This gave him the opportunity to express himself as an artist and further develop his taste for music. Today, SAMSQN’s sound is mainly based on transforming his emotions into story driven techno filled with atmospheric textures. As an artist his goal can be summarized into the following sentence:

'Hypnotizing mankind with all the frequencies a human can possibly perceive.'

Inspirations:

'If I am being honest, it is hard for me to make an E.P. with one story in mind as I get inspired by different aspects. My inspirations come from: personal feelings, nature, music, behaviour of humans and humanity. This E.P. consists of several tracks I made over 2020 and the beginning of 2021, carefully curated to fit together as an atmospheric package.'

'Demise':
The stereotypical inspiration of 2020: Covid-19. The year felt like a prison I wanted to break out from. The track is heavy with dark atmospheric textures to accommodate this feeling.

'Otherworldly sound':
As a real Dutch citizen I love to Ice skate. In februari 2021 it was possible to do this for the first time in like 10 years, because of climate change. When I was skating on a lake near my hometown, I heard the beautiful sound of crackling ice underneath my feet. It felt primal. I tried to capture this feeling in the track.

;JCB':
I got inspired by Etapp Kyle’s 2018 boiler room in Berlin. He was able to play a set with rolling beats/ basslines, while the atmospheric melodies were telling the story. I wanted to recreate that feeling.

'JCBB':
I wanted to make a more groovy and jungle vibe version of JCB.

'80 Hours':
This track was created after working 80 hours in one week without a lot of sleep. To express this feeling I created a track that doesn’t have a lot of big changes.The track is a loop in time.

No importa qué tan rápido viaja la luz, siempre encuentra que la oscuridad ha llegado antes y la está esperando.

Darkduction es un artista nacido en Colombia a mediados del 2014, alejado de un mundo común mientras construye y se adentra en un mundo lleno de proyectos de música electrónica y arte audiovisual. Inició su carrera desde muy joven enfocándose principalmente en forjarse en la producción y composición de la música electrónica, explorando e ingresando a los lugares más recónditos de la música electrónica y encontrando su marca personal entre un estilo Techno muy experimental, Minimalista e Hipnótico. Trabajando siempre bajo una figura anónima en la que desarrolló todos los experimentos sonoros que pudo encontrar y realizar en profundidad y sin destreza en el Techno e inspirado por muchos artistas que lo ayudaron a encontrar ese punto en la producción en la que sentía satisfacción por lo que estaba logrando.

 
es capaz de combinar la electrónica más fría y sofisticada con el techno más abstracto y complejo, rozando en ocasiones la experimentación sonora con texturas y ritmos poco habituales en la pista de baile y proyectos conceptuales entre la música electrónica experimental y los diversos proyectos de actuación en vivo como “Granular Air Material” que alcanza nuevos niveles de reducción, abstracción y conceptualización. Una extensa incursión en la síntesis, el muestreo y el procesamiento a nivel atómico y su Live en Multicanal.

Su música tiene en gran medida raíces muy profundas en lo ancestral, lo mítico y lo sublime alcanzando un sonido que va más allá de los paradigmas tratando de encontrar una conexión directa con quien la oye y sigue su concepto, como dice “Soy una sombra, ¡un ser escondido en la oscuridad que busca una conexión con las almas que habitan este mundo y están ahí para escuchar! "

Red Noise es un productor musical, ingeniero de sonido y DJ, influenciado artísticamente por la naturaleza y la experimentación sonora. Sus sonidos hipnóticos y atmosféricos viajan desde el Techno y el Breakbeat hasta el Ambient, transmitiendo diversas sensaciones en los oyentes, por medio de sonidos que van desde texturas sonoras creadas por sintetizadores, hasta misteriosos paisajes sonoros selváticos. 

Una construcción sonora notable en sus producciones y presentaciones en vivo, que muestran la unión entre el arte, la ingeniería y la magia, complementándose para presentar actos llenos de misticismo, euforia y baile, mostrando versatilidad como selector musical y gran calidad como productor musical.

Es miembro cofundador del colectivo artístico de Medellín (Rouge) y ha participado en sellos musicales como: From A Lost Place, Seis, Rouge, FSU y Default Series. Fue residente en Club 1984 y ha actuado en diferentes clubes del país como Calle 9+1, Tunnel, Sonorama, Terraza Club, Tiera, La Fabryka, Rec Club.

Participando en eventos como UTTA de Medellinstyle, Auditum (Semana de la escucha 2020), Jaguar Palomino 2018, entre otros. Fue artista preseleccionado en las convocatorias para Estéreo Picnic 2020 y ha compartido cartel con artistas como: Mike Parker, Blazej Malinowski, Dino Sabatini, Kwartz, Merino, Verraco, Julianna, W.I.R.E, Launaea, Zemog, entre otros.

En 2019 presentó su primer álbum de estudio titulado Alouatta, un tributo a los Tayronas y a la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, cargado de atmósferas, paisajes sonoros binaurales de la zona y flautas andinas, oscilando entre la experimentación sonora, el Ambient y el IDM. Ha participado en compilados como, Rayleigh Scattering, Charity Compilation, Musica Urgente y El Canto de los Dioses, junto a productores como Launaea, Korridor, Zemog, Merino, Black Propaganda, Donato Dozzy, Blazej Malinowski, Verraco, Sepian, Luigi Tozzi, Forest On Stasys, Metropolis, Erika entre otros. Posicionándose como un artista sólido en el medio musical nacional y con buena proyección internacional.

Episode 8 | Condensed . Matter | Ancient Forest

Andres Cano a.k.a Ancient Forest resides in the north of the valley - Colombia. He is oriented in Ambient , Deep  and Tribal sound style. He is attracted to the soundscape, the environment and the meditation music, lover of angelic tonality and healing frequencies. He is a co-founder and producer in Norte Techno series which is representing a community dedicated to the deep and hypnotic sides of electronic music.Ancient Forest express in music a sound with different emotions through the depth of its frequencies, releasing every feeling found within the being. Make up his line combining ambient, organic sounds, tribal chases, and dub techno, a journey of high vibration and mental stimulation. For Matter Series he wanted to show a concept a little deeper and of mental stimulation with frequencies that will make our mind travel through a passage of high vibration entering a tribal environment with very marked percussions and rhythmic steps based on downtempo.

Después de un año presentamos esta grabación muy intima realizada a puertas cerradas en el mítico Garden Club, dejamos ahora estos dos mixes para el publico en el cual se presentan en formato solitario Traversable Message, dj y productor de la ciudad de Pereira que ha acompañado por muchas noches el trabajo del club desde sus primeros años hasta el 2020.
Adicional se presenta también el dj y productor pereirano Pedro Paz aka Pvrv. Acompañando en formato B2B a Traversable Message, estos dos productores han editado juntos diferentes trabajos discográficos y dejan ver en estas dos sesiones el profundo amor y respeto hacia un club que ha forjado Y fortalecido su gran pasión por la musica y que al dia de hoy sigue siendo un gran pilar para su carrera; Garden Club ha servido de inspiración no solo para este par de artistas, lo ha hecho también para muchas personas dedicadas al arte no solo musical; sino un sinnúmero de personalidades que han expresado de una manera u otra su gran admiración para un club que ha logrado crear un sentimiento profundo de amor respeto y pasión al arte a travez del tiempo.
