Luis AKA PAPICO is a dj/producer, co-founder of Distrito Techno, resident of
in the prosperous and well-known Galeria del Ritmo, just in Torreon. He has spent a long time on the beaches of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, developing as a regular in many of the clubs in the area.

In the session he has recorded for Controlla, he takes us on a rich and smooth journey connecting great sintergy between the chosen songs. Soft, elegant, recommended for a preview with friends.
In this musical tour that PAPICO introduces and attracts us, he uses various genres to transport us from the interior of Mexico to international lands.

An homage to Leonard Cohens "You Want It Darker" as a slow, atmospheric and ominous Tech-House Remix.

The original song was written shortly before Mr. Cohens death. The lyrics were his last words to the god he prayed to his whole life. A god who were supposed to be omnipresent and omnipotent and loving, but never answered Cohen's prayers for help. Through his lyrics, it becomes apparent that he made his judgment through suffering. 

"A Million Candles Burning For The Help That Never Came..."

I tried to capture the feeling of the original song to the best of my ability.
