I am Nonhlanhla Siwela. I am an 22 year old South African black woman, who is a writer, an activist, a leader, an academic, an independent thinker, and a conversationalist. I am many things, and I believe in embracing my multifaceted nature. My passion is deeply entrenched in bringing about social change through writing poetry. I write poems that critically evaluate and navigate the various social issues evident in our society. Using my words, I hope to be a catalyst for informative discourse and provide healing or comfort to those that may be needing it.
