Anyone who who has been following the Selador story so far should already be familiar with Marc Depulse. Having previously featured as a remixer on Joal’s ‘Uncover To Discover’ in 2015 and more recently as part of our Showcase Volume 3 compilation, the German Producer now earns his stripes with a fully fledged EP of considerable weight and stature. 

Comprising of two originals and two remixes from Kevin Over & David Granha, it’s yet another impressive release from the Selador camp. You know the drill by now. So what you waiting’ for?!


Marc Depulse - Slapstick (David Granha Remix) PREVIEW SNIPPET

After the success of the hugely impressive New Impressions EP, which featured a host of remixes from top remixers, Russian based DJ and producer Anton Vishniakov aka Rise and Fall returns to Bonzai Progressive with the superb Genetic. As always this guy produces the goods and does it in style. Genetic also features two top notch remixes that deliver a wonderful insight into the worlds of progressive and techno.

The Original Mix intros with a solid beat that packs a nice thumping kick drum alongside crispy hi hats and cool FX. A sub rattling bass lurks on the low end and is accompanied by various other bass patterns creating a top notch groove. The super tight arrangement is made up of an array of drums that give off a techno vibe while the deep grooving basses lock us into a progressive streak. A dancefloor burner no doubt, not to be missed.

Fresh off the back of his full Bonzai Progressive debut, Stan Kolev steps up for remix duties and does not disappoint. After several appearances on various Bonzai compilations, Stan recently debuted with his Forsaken EP which continues to gather support from all quarters. Here on the remix he pulls out all the stops and takes us down a progressive path laced with techno flavours. A solid punchy kick drum leads the charge and is joined by a deep probing bass that finds its way deep into your core. Tight drums set up a cool steady rhythm as superb synth chords and stabs keep the sound moving. Excellent stuff here that will be a welcome addition in any set for sure.

Koschk debuts on Bonzai Progressive with a superb remix that takes us deep into the techno sound right from the off. A myriad of percussion greets us on the intro giving off a tribalistic vibe that hypnotizes. A muted kick comes through and we find ourselves wanting the low end to burst out, and soon enough we get our wish as the bass filters in and the kicks get a punchy boost. This ramps up the groove brilliantly and we are soon locked in to the deep groove for the duration. As this epic track progresses a fantastic synth pad fades up to deliver a surreal mix of sounds. On the break the synth is the master taking us on a trippy vibe full of colourful textures. Outstanding is an understatement here, this one is a definite must have that will slot perfectly into any peak time set.

Leipzig's Marc Werner returns to Kittball to release two luscious house cuts entitled 'Blue Jeans' EP including collaborations with Shuja and Music P and a remix from Get Physical's Martin Waslewski.

Since 2007 Marc Werner has been finding his way within his musical sphere. Along his journey he's had outings on Bunny Tiger, Kontor Records, Audio Safari and Kittball which act as an accurate reflection for his meticulous productions and emotive stylings. His honest approach and hard graft has earnt him sets at some of Germany's biggest festivals like Sonne Mond Sterne, Airbeat One, World Club Dome and Sputnik Spring Break. Joining him for his 'Blue Jeans' EP is Shuja who has previous releases on Nouveau Niveau Records, Rodark and Kontor, as well as Germany's Music P on vocal duties.

'Blue Jeans' kicks off with infectious grooves balanced with shaky percussion and a pulsating bass line. Martin Waslewski - who has outings on Get Physical, Stil Vor Talent and Exploited Ghetto - then delivers a tasteful remix of 'Blue Jeans' with rolling drums, shimmering basslines and smooth vocals before 'Circle' finishes things off with atmospherics pads, euphoric melodies and delightfully compelling sound design fused harmoniously with Music P's soothing voice.
