Born out of the legendary Hive Club in Zurich, Animal Trainer are a production team in full bloom. Over the last few years, the dynamic duo of Adrian Wölhaff & Samuel Gmür have amassed an array of releases on an impressive list of labels including the likes of Stil Vor Talent, Poker Flat, Monaberry and Yoshitoshi. In short, its a mighty fine resumé. Whichever way you slice it.

And now they return to Selador with a two tracker of quality and distinction. Lead track Amaron lays down its club credentials from the off, bobbing and weaving through a precise arrangement that will win hearts and move feet in equal measures.

The Danish duo Baime and Berlin label chief Einmusik also weigh in with two equally measured approaches that pull no punches and kick proverbial plus the added bonus of Atamaran adds the icing on the cake, the final layer to beautifully balanced package.

Tone Depth already released a series of great and unique productions in 2018. When he sent this new track as a demo for fryhide originally, HOSH was completely blown away by it and couldn´t wait to play it out. On the plane, on the way to play a very important gig for him, he listened to the track while preparing and all of a sudden it made click and out of nowhere HOSH heard the „I Am Free” vocal from Johannes Brecht & Fetsum in his mind on top of the Tone Depth track. So he edited it right away, it became the highlight of his set and people started asking for it. A perfect match! After exchanging music with Solomun who fell in love with it as well he encouraged to release the „Free” version of the track on Diynamic with the vocal on top.

A chain of circumstances and everyone pulling together made this track possible and led to this very special version. Everyone involved is very emotionally attached to it, just as emotional as the track itself is.

Hi everyone!

As you probably noticed - I've been silent for a few years. To be honest, I had to put on hold my music career and focus more on day to day life, which I had to organize properly. Luckily - I've managed to it. I'm healthy, I have a beautiful wife by my side and I couldn't ask for more. 

Few years ago, when I was more "active" as a producer, I've tried really hard to make a living from music. Maybe I've tried too hard as nothing came up from it. My financial situation was really bad back then, I was super stressed and frustrated, I didn't know what I'm doing wrong and... well... real life caught me. I've had to look at my life and make some choices. I've had to find a real job and put my life in order.

As I mentioned earlier - my life is great nowadays. I have a wife, I have a job, I have an apartment, damn, I even have a dog! My own dog! I couldn't imagine just 5-6 years ago that I will have all of it. Maybe it's not much for you guys but it is a lot for me. It is EVERYTHING to be more specific. And then... I was just itching to make some new music.

A lot of you asked me during my "silence" years "when you will release something new", "will you play at (name a place)", "what happened, where are you" etc. I wasn't answering to a lot of those questions. I didn't mean to be rude, I just wanted to have nothing to do with it at least for few years. I wanted to calm down. I wanted to make music as I originally started - I wanted to make music because I wanted to, not because I needed to earn money. I wanted to be true to myself once again. Start fresh.

Well - I'm currently very busy in the "studio". I'm making a lot of music, I've made tons of projects. And I'm doing it because I want to, not because I need to.

And it feels wonderful.

I'll have some great news for you soon. Meanwhile - I wanted to thank you. Thank you for your support even when I was silent, thank you for those messages, those questions, all of them, thank you for those YouTube comments, thank you for all kind words which I've heard even when I wasn't making any music.

As a gift (and also as an apology) - I wanted to share one of my new tunes with you for free. Just in time for Christmas, just before New Year. I'm really glad that I have all of you in my life and all of you just keep me going. I hope that soon I'll have a chance to play some music at your city and then I'll have a chance to thank you in person. I wish all the best for all of you. You'll hear from me sooner than you think.

Summer moves on… and we are back with the 6th edition of our “Bella Mar“ compilation. This year we asked the boss himself to collect some pearls and get some friends together for this wonderful project. We have Niconé for example, the Berlin multiple talented guy which always surprises with unique beats and long lasting melodies - his „Acid Heart“ brings us back to the 90’s with the push of 2019. Peter Pardeike ft. Cameron James brings a crazy good vocal track full of love and warm feelings. A “Jewel“ is coming from Leipzig based Lexer which is straight for the dancefloor. Enjoy a bath in this wonderful deep and techy song which is easily going forward. Einmusik delivers “Spume“ full of passion and hands-up-dream-moments.
