Natural de Uruguaiana, na Rio Grande do Sul, Alec Araujo carrega em sua trajetória mais de três décadas dedicadas à música eletrônica. Desde o inicio de sua carreira, em 1990, suas raizes latinas e espanholas moldaram um estilo autêntico, marcado por sets intensos e envolventes, capazes de manter as pistas vibrando por horas a fio. Com visão empreendedora, mudou-se para Porto Alegre e rapidamente conquistou espaço nas principais pistas, clubs, festivais e raves do sul do pais. Seu carisma e consistência o levaram além das
fronteiras. Alec passou a se apresentar em clubs e eventos pela América do Sul, dividindo line-ups com grandes referências da música eletrônica nacional e mundial, como Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, DJ Marky, Anderson Noise, Mau Mau, Renato Ratier, Gui Boratto, entre outros.
Ao mergulhar de cabeça na produção musical, de forma autodidata, começou a desenvolver suas próprias faixas, remixes e versões exclusivas de clássicos dos anos 80 imprimindo sua identidade única e refinada. Suas produções ultrapassaram fronteiras, sendo tocadas por DJs de renome internacional e nas pistas mais respeitadas do Progressive House global.
Citado por Wolfgang Flür, formador do Kraftwerk, em seu livro “I Was a Robot”, teve suporte em seus remixes de
“Neon Lights”, “Autoban” e “Vitamin” da banda Kraftwerk, do próprio Wolfgang Flür, declarando:
“Amo o seu remix de Neon Lights”.
Com feeling apurado, técnica impecável e bom gosto incomparável, Alec construiu uma assinatura sonora que equilibra emoção, ritmo e sofisticação. Ao longo
de 30 anos de carreira, mais de duas delas dedicadas ao Progressive House, consolidou-se como um dos nomes mais expressivos da cena sul-americana, com suas faixas figurando em sets de grandes artistas entre eles, Hernan Cattaneo, que vem apresentando os novos remixes de Alec em performances pelo verão europeu e em grandes eventos, como o Sunsetstrip, realizado em São Paulo, em 2025.

Big Bells Records closes the year on a high note with the return of one of its most respected resident producers, Chris M, presenting his second EP on the label — Fever. Known for his deep melodic identity and emotive approach to Progressive House, Chris M delivers a beautifully textured original that radiates both warmth and drive, reflecting his evolution as a producer and storyteller. The title track, Fever, immediately captures attention with a hypnotic groove, rich atmospheric pads, and elegant melodic layers that unfold gradually into a deeply immersive journey. Next up from Selador, two producers who are no strangers to the label join forces for a double helping of unmitigated dance floor devastation.  

This formidable pairing comes straight out of the top drawer with both original tracks ‘Birds’ & ‘Lions’ vying for your attention. 

Additional interpretations come from Geordie producer Simon Jobe and Belgian duo, Raw District providing back up that will turn heads and move dance floors in equal measures. 

And that boys and girls, is how we do things.

Andre Frauenstein a.k.a. Lostly is on fire at the moment, with a series of high profile releases on labels such as Outburst, Discover and Mental Asylum. By Morning opened up Sneijder’s disc of the recently released Pure Trance Vol. 5, and is only now available as a standalone Extended Mix. Layers of filtered arpeggiators and stabbed synths provide the pace and a goosebump raising keychange does the business at the breakdown. Smooth.

Daniele Di Martino now comes back with an EP that is made for long and dark nights in the small clubs. Therefore, Di Martino goes back to his roots by creating straight deep house combined with a pushing bass-line, as he does in the original version of 'Faust' - providing a result that is perfect to be played somewhere in the deepness of the night when there is no time for hesitation. The second track 'Different' comes a bit more melodic, includes vocal snippets and leaves space to breathe and feel - while the bass is as dark, it could dig an aisle in the middle of the dance-floor.

Daniele Di Martino's two tracks are reduced to the minimum - thus, they present a little less of the easiness and playfulness of his former releases - however, this is not by chance but the producer's way of expressing his development as an artist.

The third track leaves a completely different impression as it is made by techno-legend Thomas Schumacher who gave 'Faust' his personal interpretation. Since Schumacher is an expert in creating clear and straight-into-your-face techno sounds the result comes harder and even straighter than the original. It crowns the EP by leaving no space for thinking or dreaming and reflects the intention of the whole trilogy.

Following on the heels of last year's "Circuit EP", which got support from the likes of Scuba, Matthew Dear and 2000 And One, Andre Crom starts into 2017 with "Short Circuit", another offering of stripped back and highly functional dj-tools.

The title track's energetic drums are inspired by it's predecessor, but "Short Circuit" ditches "Circuit"'s vocal in favor of a mental industrial percussion-lead.

"Impedance" takes things towards a more stripped back and minimalistic route, the "randomly" syncopated drum patterns giving the track an ever-evolving feel.

Tallmen 785, a new member of the OFF-family and known from releases on Hotflush, Fiedel and his own "Tallmen Records", delivers a trippy and hypnotic underground remix.
