When Dave Seaman & Steve Parry first spoke about starting a record label together, one of their motivating factors was to create a prestigious platform on which they could also release their own productions. And so, following Steve’s massive ‘Apricity’ release earlier this year, it’s now Dave’s turn to abuse his position of label boss and drop his own new single, ‘Nightfalls’.

It’s his third outing on Selador following 2014’s brace of ‘Naughty Forest’ and ‘Justified Replacement Of Lulu’ and by sheer coincidence, also happens to be Selador’s 50th release. Anybody would think we’d planned it that way! 

The original production is centred around vocal flourishes from Ananda Project’s millennium classic ‘Cacades Of Colour’ and sees Dave in classic mode embracing both Techno and Tech House stylings to deliver a thoroughly modern hybrid. 

We then call upon three giants of the remix world to sprinkle their magic on proceedings. First up Lee Van Dowski stays pretty close to the original arrangement but ramps up the energy levels to bursting point. Anthem alert! 

Next, Chymera gets all deep and sophisticated with a blissed out interpretation that has neck hairs standing to attention and shivers cascading down the spine. Heavenly doesn’t even cover it. 

And topping things off, new kids on the block, OC & Verde deliver a certified Tech House monster. This one goes straight for the jugular from the off and never lets up. Straight up, peak time. 

And with that, our 50th release comes to fruition and we’re proud as proverbial punch. Infact, we even go as far as to say we’re starting to get the hang of this label lark. A big thank you to everyone who’s got us this far. 
Half-a-century, not out. And we’re only just getting started!

With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. Great Stuff proudly presents volume eight of it’s “To The Underground” series. The series features solely exclusive tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol.8 gets under way with Cristian Viviano’s “Dosko & Back To The Roots“. Two deep & raw Techno bombs, both feature gut-wrenching sub frequencies, which were built to deliver full-on energy. Deep, pitched male vocals and the surging grooves are keeping things swinging and jacking.

Up next is Chay & Dead Space’s gloomy “Feel”. This prime time monster consists of the perfect club night essentials: Pitched sleazy vocals, a barking bassline and drilling high powered chords.  

Italy’s up and coming producer Qubiko shakes things up with a big pile of funk and fun. Comforting pads, warm chords and a rumbling, deep tech-house groove are the solid foundation for “Lawrat”.

Precise piano chords & out of space frequencies glide a long a tight knit net of crisp hi-hats, while the rocky bassdrum brings the right amount of bounce. Mike Newman also manages to playfully inject a mellow summer vibe into his “Regression” composition.

The specific hallmark of Pagano’s “Penetralia” is its thick, straight forward groove and huge bassline that supports the haunting pads and effects in the most modish way. Full on peak time material!

Vozmediano is closing off this fine collection of top grade electronic music. His “Inside” track is all about the distinguishing and extremely intense Techno groove. Synth patterns lead the way through effect-soaked percussion sounds and warped builds.
