Phil van Lipanen was born in Switzerland in 1975. He writes his own music: singer/songwriter styles and instrumentals as well.
Van Lipanen is a solo project with loop station, mic and guitars. Sometimes he plays the mandoline, blues harp or piano. 
Van lipanen recorded the album "Pferde stehlen" in 2014 and "Top Hat" in 2015.

I have been writing lyrics since I was a kid growing up in the seventies, in Wheaton, MD.  What a place to grow up !!!  When I think back on it now, I wouldn't trade a second of my experiences on those suburban backstreets.  

My sincerest thanks and appreciation goes out to all the great artists who have been kind enough to collaborate on my lyrical endeavors.  Their fantastic music and creative composition has truly turned my dreams into reality.
