Danny Nytefix was introduced to the underground electronic music scene two decades ago in Seattle WA, with an ear for the sounds of John Digweed, Chris Fortier, Kasey Taylor and Nick Warren. He was first mentored in 2002 by artists on Recording Label Sentient Audio Collective, Colorado Springs CO, and Toes in the Sand Records, Cleveland OH.  Nytefix has a sound that is not held constraint to any particular genre.  He reads and uses the energy from his audience to guide him through his sets. Through years of dedication and his uncanny ability to manipulate an entire dance floor, he has landed himself at some of the most renowned events/clubs across the United States, such as previously rated the #1 rated club in the United States, “The Church”, located in Denver, CO, Las Vegas’ ICE, and “The World’s Largest Paint Party” DAYGLOW. His passion and love for dance music is reflected by his energy and stage presence when he is behind the decks.

In the depths of the underground you will find the deeper darker side of Nytefix on, WHITE KAT and The Seed, bringing you some of the most driving Techno and Tech house. He has shared the airwaves amongst some of the biggest names in techno such as UMEK, and Tom Hades, on what once was TechTribal’s weekly airing of the DRUMTRAIN on TechnoHouse.fm. Get ready for raw, dark, gritty techno blended with layers of synths to bring a perfectly infused sound. Charting releases are “Tryptophan” released by TechTribal Records hitting the #1 Techno spot on SatelliteEDM.

In January 2012 Danny Nytefix joined forces with fellow DJ/Producer Anthony Paul aka Darius Twin as one half of the power house duo Audio DNA. Their first release was signed to PhetHouse Records, a remix of the original track “Cheating Club Whore”, by Ciconte and Connie Lingus. Within the first week it was ranked #10 on Beatport’s Top 100 Electro House releases. Also known for their chart smashing electro progressive house 3 track EP called “Final Countdown” on PhetHouse Records , which hit #14 on Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive House releases.

Nytefix also launched Auricle Recordings in 2014. This is the brainchild of Nytefix and longtime friend and DJ/Production partner Rodd Sim.  Auricle is already a hot topic in the dance music community and is gaining early support from some of the most respected artists today. In 2023 Their latest offerings, such as the single “Don’t Look Back,” released under House Global Alliance, and the profoundly impactful “This is the Moment” EP from INU Musika, showcase their versatility and refined craftsmanship. “Don’t Look Back” encapsulates their signature sound—a blend of compelling rhythms and immersive soundscapes that beckon listeners to lose themselves in the depths of their music.
The “This is the Moment” EP pushes the envelope further, offering a fresh perspective on cutting-edge techno. With tracks like “Soulbind” making its mark on Perfecto Records’ esteemed Perfecto Black, Nytefix & Sim are not just releasing music; they’re shaping the future of techno. For over ten years Anthony Paul has been rising in popularity as an energetic technical DJ. He has performed at countless sold out events including a gig on the legendary Isle of Ibiza, Spain. In March 2005, he was voted as one of the top 5 EDM DJ's in Virginia after Ninevolt had its "6th Annual Ninevolt Local Music Awards" (issue No.146; page 25). Anthony Paul also has multiple original, and remixed, songs released on various music labels from peak hour Electro House to Progressive.

Lauren Jones has been playing Cello for nearly 20 years.  Her love of music (rock music especially) started at a young age when she would sing along with her favorite musical movies and listen to her parents' record collection. Lauren decided to play the cello in elementary school after seeing it in a school orchestra concert. She loved its beautiful sound and unique size.

Beginning in middle school, Lauren became interested in the idea of playing rock and experimental cello. In high school, she discovered and was inspired by rock cello groups such as Apocalyptica. Her first "electric cello" experience was playing "The Star Spangled Banner" Jimi Hendrix style for a church rock concert. She hooked a specially designed cello pick-up to her bridge and played it through a guitar amp with a wah pedal.

Lauren attended music school at the University of Arizona. While there, she studied cello under Nancy Green, Nelzimar Neves, and Mark Votapek. She also joined her first rock band, The Evergreen. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in 2008.

After graduation, Lauren taught orchestra, general music, and choir in the Avondale Elementary School District. In 2009 she founded the band, orchestra, and elementary violin program at the Rancho Solano Private School Gilbert campus and taught there for the next two years.

While teaching, Lauren joined a funk metal band called Risky Agenda. This band performed in the Tempe area and eventually changed into the band PoorWater, a progressive rock band. While in PoorWater, Lauren purchased her first fully electric six string cello. Having a fully electric cello with a larger range in both the high and low ends dramatically changed her sound possibilities and allowed her to be able to stand while performing.

PoorWater released their album, Harvesting Habits, in 2011. PoorWater stayed together until late 2012, performing at various venues around Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale and opening for national acts such as Smile Empty Soul and 10 Years.

In early 2013, Lauren joined the electric rock project Don't Panic. They released an E.P., Dos Robot Circus, in December 2014.

In the summer of 2015, Lauren parted ways with Don't Panic and reconnected with two cellists she had known and played with throughout high school and college, Michael G. Ronstadt and Kenneth D. Stewart, to form The Plenary Art Ensemble. They played their debut concert of experimental and improvisational modern music for cello, bass, guitar, voice, and electronics at the New Directions Cello Festival in Ithaca, New York.

 

Later that summer, Lauren also joined the ambient alternative band, Ghostwalk. They released their first full-length album, Archive, in October 2015 and are performing in the Phoenix area.
