Our 50th episode is a recommendation from one of the UK's most talented djing duos, People Get Real aka Simon Lister and Peter Wilson. After quickly establishing themselves as Newcastle heavyweights, the lads have gone onto play the epic Hideout Festival in Croatia every year, they've been Wax:On residents for years and played pretty much everywhere including Fabric, Japan and Ibiza to name a few. What an amazing feeling it is to be back. After being away in Europe from radio for 4 weeks (which seemed like an eternity of no radio), I returned with an amazing amount of music, inspiration, and energy. I also announced that Soulection Radio will be transitioning from Kbeach over to @RinseFM (London, UK) on 106.8 FM / http://rinse.fm! 

That means our broadcast will move from Kbeach to Rinse on Saturdays from 10am-1pm (Pacific) / 6pm-9pm (GMT) / 1pm-4pm (Eastern).

This is major news. It has always been a dream of mine to be on UK Radio and I couldn't be happier to finally be on one of the most forward thinking networks in the world, especially in London. I want to give a special thanks to Danny Lemos, John Trapper, Evan, Trey, Eduardo, & many more at Kbeach for giving me a chance to use my voice and develop. I wouldn't be here right now with out the opportunity to express myself.

Special thanks to Shakira and Finn over at Rinse FM for discovering Soulection and giving us this opportunity. We can't wait to start next Saturday. About the CD:
005 of the 'Classic Mix CD' collection brings a much slower affair. From the superb 'Back To Mine' CD series. The first I purchased was actually Danny Tenaglia's disc, which I bought out of curiosity being a fan of his house DJ sets. That disc almost made it here, but it was the Groove Armada release which really got hammered on my old Sony stereo. No other disc reminds me of lazy summer sundays more than this. And it was really the first musical selection that steered me towards collecting and playing a mix of music all together. Going from A Tribe Called Quest, into Barry White's incredible "Playing Your Game Baby" then house and other genre's coming in.... really resonated with me and elevated the way I put music together. Both listening to and playing out. A truly seminal release.
