Kosheen are an Anglo-Welsh electronic music group based in Bristol. The group consist of singer-songwriter Sian Evans, songwriter-producer Ron Mcelroy and drummer Mitchell Glover. The name Kosheen derives from the name of a North American Apache warrior, Cochise. The trio had their European breakthrough in 2000-2001 with the drum 'n' bass track Hide U, followed by the debut album Resist, which included another string of (minor) chart hits. On later albums, Kosheen experimented with various other styles of music. The 2013 album Solitude is their last to date. "Catch" was one of their singles from their classic first album, a powerful and energetic Pop/Breakbeat track. SluG (FL) pays his respect to Kosheen and transforms the original into a Breaks dancefloor destoryer!!

My good friend, DJ Global, decided he was going to start throwing parties at his warehouse. He asked me if I wanted to help. Never one to miss the opportunity to be a part of something awesome, or throw a party, I said hell yes. This is the 2nd time we've had a party at said warehouse, and the 1st time we decided to record the sets. My timeslot was 12 AM, and Global played before me. Because I followed him, and it was 12 AM, I had to go a little harder than I usually do. Typically, I will ride around 128-132 BPM. This set rides ~132-138 BPM. I had fun playing the set, but as always, I wasn't sure how it sounded to the listener. After listening to it I found myself pleasantly surprised. It was a fun set to play, and even more fun to listen to. I hope you find it as much fun as I did.
