Would it be possible for you to upload a FLAK, WAV, or at the least a 320kbps of this?  I'm a really massive fan of Grooverider the music but not so much Raymond Binham the man (I met him in person, he wasn't friendly).  I try to get everything I can that Grooverider did.  This album I actually have as a CD however the USA release for some reason is an unmixed version.  There was actually silver tape on the CD itself and when lifted off it says "mixed by grooverider".  Clearly there was a licensing dispute and its not the first time Grooverider refused to release something to the USA.  It would be really good if you could upload a high quality audio of this, I would get a great deal of enjoyment out of it for sure.

Remember buying this. Still got it actually, it’s in my mums house 😂

I blame my dads DIY attitude to everything... Right down to home surgery when he put a hot needle through his toenail to release the pressure on his cartoon-sized toe after dropping a sheet of ply on his foot!!! That inbuilt way of thinking/doing led me to believe that I could replace my faulty mixer channel fader by myself. Armed with a cheap soldering kit I proceeded to fuck my mixer which now has no left channel fader at all and now needs to go to an expert for a proper fixing. 

In celebration, I dug through the racks for some niceness. Grooverider: Face Of The Future Mixtape (1994)

If you're like me, you're spending a lot of time at home at the moment, and, assuming you are staying healthy (I hope so!), you need some music to listen to, right? I got you covered! This is a tribute to the early recordings of the legendary @djhypednb, East London's original scratchmaster and rave hero. To show off the amazing changes in his music back in the 90's, this mix takes four of his tracks / remixes from each year from 1993 to 1998 and then lines them up in chronological order, so that you can clearly hear the progression from hardcore to jungle to jump-up to early liquid funk. Louise Plus One & Hughesee have both been DJ’S since the 90’s.  

They play vinyl sets representing music from the years of 87-95 and beyond representing a wide range of styles including  Acid House, Techno, Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle Techno and Jungle/DnB.
Over the years they have played at events such as Freekuency Festival (Portugal), Rupture, Mash Up The Dance (Brick Lane), Jungle Syndicate, Live Evil, Calling The Hardcore, West Yorkshire Jungle Collective, Originate, Spectral Breaks and Deeper Understanding/LWT parties in London. 

Louise and Simon host Distant Planet events together in London on a regular basis which consist of warehouse all night parties at The Venue M.O.T in South Bermondsey and also run daytime family friendly events at the Fox & Firkin in Deptford and the Royal Sovereign pub in Hackney. 

Distant Planet also captures video sets from their nights which are available to watch on their Youtube channel and also host live streams showcasing the best of the Distant Planet DJ’s. Recently during the lockdown they  have been representing Distant Planet by taking part in live streams from  Venue MOT and The Fold London as well as their own streams which have great lineups with many of their Distant Planet regular DJs.

Home of my own mixes - predominantly jungle/hardcore with the odd bit of D&B, plus eclectic sample-digging, breaks and hip-hop, techno & electronica. 

Pre-2001, all mixes vinyl; Post-2016, all mixes digital (DJay 2); Post-2018, Ableton Live. Why? Why not?
I've got an old skool DJ's mentality, early influences ranging from Sublove, Ratty, Randall & Hype to Coldcut, DJ Juice, MK & Primo.  In the early 00s I turned my back on D&B, retired my turntables in favour of family/work commitments, and got into funk, soul, reggae and so on... a lot of this driven by curiosity around the sample roots of hardcore and jungle.  Forward another decade and an early mid-life crisis saw me messing around with virtual decks on my phone, and later acquiring a vinyl ripper, with one vision in mind: making mixes.
Although I'm partial to the odd DJay or vinyl mix when I get the chance, the progression into Ableton Live was a simple means to an end.  My ideas stretch further than the limitations of my physical collection and real-time mixing, and by sequencing I can pick, choose, chip away and structure mixes at my leisure. Which I do... a lot :)

Wait, there's more ... an absolute stack of classic golden era/old skool hip-hop/turntablism, jungle and d&b, hardcore, techno and house mixes retrieved from my dusty tape & CD archives.  This includes (by my reckoning) the most exhaustive collections of classic Full Cycle and Sublove Galaxy Radio shows, live Ruffneck Ting jungle tapes, loads of studio & compilation mixes, all manner of rave tapes, and so on.
