Smooglers (formed as Volcestra in 2013) always has surprises for their listeners: after a long, dance-oriented period, considering these special pandemic weeks, the Smooglers guys (Laszlo L. Laki and Gabor Borosi) left their modular racks in the studio and are playing a chill set from Laki's apartment using a few very special instruments like a ‘76 Fender Rhodes Bass, a Nord Grand Piano, a Moog One and two Moog Matriarchs. Darius is a traveling collector of sound and selector of reggae/dub and world music.

With French and Persian ancestry and growing up in Germany under the influence of several cultures and languages, he considers himself a citizen of the world and connector of its people.

The title 'King' is not meant as a symbol of supremacy or noble heritage. It is rather a reminder to himself that Darius remains a humble servant to his tribe, which is mankind, and to lead with good example to inspire acts of kindness, charity and liberation of mind & spirit.

Being a passionate music festival attendee for over 15 years and continuously exploring the diversity of the magical universe that is music, he made it his mission to travel the world and to share his collection of conscious music, spreading the message of peace, love and unity.

Dance to release and heal, listen to overstand and widen your horizon, be present in the moment to feel alive and free - those are the intentions behind musical performances with King Darius.
