Here is finally my Dj set for Ecstatic Life Gathering !
What a beautiful ceremony we had along with my dear Momo and Coração de Cacau team.

I Hope you can rememeber here or find a way to feel a little bit of what we have been living.

It was 5 days of pure magic!
120 people together dancing, singing, connecting and awakening together with a wisdom and fluidity that made us leave this space wide open, centered and with a lot of energy to give!

Celebration, Depth and Alchemy are the words that best describe these days!

Thank you Virgilio for organizing such powerfull events and pushing Ecstating Dance further each and everytime!
Thank you to all facilitators and all beautiful souls I have met and connected with!

Sharing The Vibes - 3rd birthday special set by OrkA

Starting back in Rio de Janeiro's indie music scene in 2013, hosting events and supporting local artists, later becoming music producer and releasing tracks on labels like Sony Music, DiscoDigo carries over 8 years performing as a DJ. Co-founded Coletivo Piraja, which earned a spot in Louis Vuitton's 2023 Rio City Guide for their innovative contributions to Rio's music scene, ‘celebrating the fusion of old-school, nostalgic rhythms with a fresh, contemporary essence.’ Based in Lisbon, DiscoDigo is a monthly regular at Gala Cri Cri (Palacio do Grilo) and hosts his own label - Aliás - that celebrates homegrown music—think house, disco, soul—anything with a heartbeat!

Nascido no Rio de Janeiro, iniciou sua carreira musical em 2013 organizando eventos e apoiando artistas da cena indie local. Mais tarde, tornou-se produtor musical, lançando faixas em gravadoras como Sony Music. where to even start with this beautiful angel? we don't see each other nearly as much as zeus intended but in my heart she's one of my nearest and dearest. an inspo on many fronts - artistic, personal, political, professional - she runs the incredible outer agency, atonal's brainchild, representing and elevating an unrivalled roster. she's also a super inspired DJ who really, truly loves the music - she's been a promoter, radio resident and cultural diffusion bae for over a decade, so as you can imagine the range of sonix this girl is up to speed is real. also honourable mention to this boo's wits - she's too funny, too smart, has just the right amount of tranquil sassiness (see baby pic and take ur own conclusions abt the realness of this statement). we have laughed together A LOT and the goddess above knows how much i value that. her naivetape is a beautiful trip through the dreamier, psychedelic and wavy side of her music collection, perfect for home-listening (more relevant than ever, stay strong yall). and because Carin aka DJ Caring is a kind and thoughtful bb, she asked me to share her email here for anyone who would like to reach out on how to cope with the covid-19 situation, she will help however she can with insights from someone who is constantly working behind the scenes. get at her via carin.abdula@gmail.com
