British producer Nu Aspect is an artist we’ve been championing for a long time over here at Selected. Debuting on our YouTube channel back in March 2017 with the huge deep house anthem Things I Said, we’ve been fortunate enough to welcome back the über-talented producer time and time again for a growing catalogue of hits including Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head, Run Deep, Afterlife, Sleepless and Something Real. 

Taking heavy inspiration from artists such as Gorgon City, Tchami and Chris Lorenzo, Nu Aspect has spent the last few years really honing his sound, and now boasts a staggering 2+ million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. 

Riding a wave of success off the back of his most recent single Strings Attached the Bristol-based artist now looks to continue his prolific run of form, with the release of his latest juggernaut single Words. 

A deep, melodic house offering full of attitude and beaming with atmospheric flair, Words is everything we could have hoped for and more from the in-form producer, who deliver expert production techniques, ethereal soundscapes and elegant vocals across a stunning three-and-a-half minute record.

A bona fide hit-making machine, Bristol-based producer Sam Higgins — or Nu Aspect as he’s more commonly known in electronic music circles — is a man on a mission. Boasting a staggering 60+ million career streams following a string of original singles and official remixes for the likes of Elderbrook, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Steve Void to name a few, one of our all-time favourite producers now returns to Selected. with his latest anthem, Miss You.

An exquisite, three-minute house cut made for those euphoric dancefloor moments, Miss You sees Higgins team up with Italian producer Jamis (Let It Bleed, Boom Boom and Ways To Heaven) and hotly-tipped British singer-songwriter Poppy Baskcomb (Temptation, This Love and Falling Down) for the trio’s eagerly-anticipated inaugural collaboration.

Dusting off the holiday cobwebs with one of our first releases of 2024 is none other than Italian producer and Selected. favourite, Astrality! Returning to our label for his latest offering, the prolific London-based producer now presents Bloom Again. 

A mesmerising blend of deep house and emotive vocal electronica, Bloom Again sees NuAspect enlist the vocal expertise of British singer-songwriter Julia Church, who delivers an exquisite top line to accompany Nu Aspect’s sublime instrumental. Brimming with pulsating basslines, intricate synths and meticulously crafted percussion, the track captivates with its infectious lyrics and undeniable charm, and already looks set to be one of the tracks of the summer.
