Those four things combined led to one of the most intense and massive nights that I ever had in Italy… and I have been playing there since more than 20 years. So what else can I say, actually really nothing, but thanks to everyone involved, Gianluca, everyone of the crew and all of those wild party people in Rome. Oh, and a special thanks goes out to the @chrisliebingfansclub , guys, I thank you so much for the support and all the love over the years, means the world to me and it always is such pleasure to see you and party with you. Driving 17h in a car, cause your flights to Amsterdam got cancelled the week before and you didn’t wanna miss ADE… that was insane of you and I will never forget it. And then Rome the week after, with this massive night… so good! Grazie Mille. Today´s show contains the second hour of the set. Everyone, hope you enjoy the set as much as I did playing it.

Grown up as a techno artist within the 90s UK scenery in line with Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt and Cristian Vogel, Dave Tarrida sounds just like one of those loud, sweaty, really dark underground clubs with too many strobes to see but just enough to keep your heart rate at a max. Most well known as one of the founding members of the legendary Sativae club in Edinburgh, he still retains this ravy, industrial feeling in his tracks and remains an ambassador of never ending electronic roughness – as a DJ as well as a producer.
His smashing tracks have been released on labels such as the famous Tresor, Outpost Recordings, and of course on the club-related label Sativae Recordings, which he co-runs with Steve Glencross, as well as on his more recent founded own label AUTOFAKE.

PETER KIRN is an electronic musician and technologist, born in Kentucky and based in Berlin. His production work spans both techno and experimental music, from dancefloor-ready production and live sets to work with spatial audio and custom-produced software. He also investigates futuristic topics like space sound (with the European Space Agency), Soviet immersive media archaeology (with curator Natalia Fuchs) and new performance inventions (as initiator of the international series of MusicMakers Hacklabs). His productions include releases on Snork Enterprises, Detroit Underground, Instruments of Discipline, and his own label Establishment. He also co-produces the MeeBlip hardware synth and writes about the evolution of music tech and electronic musicianship at his site CDM (createdigitalmusic.com).
