Mikkel Rev is taking us on a trip to ‘the other side’ on Translusid 007. A reincarnation of the chill-out room era, slowly submerging the listener into a deep but captivating flow. Die erste Basstölpel Party von @flause und @kollektivnordlicht ist zwar vorbei, was sehr traurig ist, wir haben aber einige Sets aufgenommen, was sehr schön ist. Den Anfang machen @innerlich_lea und @eli-async mit zwei Stunden straightem Techno, von groovig, über deep, bis hin düster und schön.

Nachdem die Hochzeit der beiden zwar schon eine Weile her ist, haben sie es jetz endlich geschafft sich auch als DJ Duo zu vermählen und sind von nun an gemeinsam als @innerlync unterwegs.

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Ryan James Ford

During the 1990’s while growing up in western Canada, Ryan James Ford was introduced to electronic music through the local rave and club scene. He began to discover, study, and collect the music he heard at these parties which consisted of a mix of Jungle, UK hardcore, Techno,House, IDM, and ambient.
Fast forward many years later to Berlin, where Ryan and his productions found a solid home on the legendary Clone records from Rotterdam and has other production’s on Anetha’s Mama Told Ya, Ida’s SÄVY, Marcel Dettmann’s MDR, Answer Code Request’s ACR, Dream Ticket, and his own label SHUT. PLUR is the new record label from Ryan James Ford. The inaugural release 'Ripping EP' begins a new path of club focused tracks from himself and other like-minded contemporaries. PLUR will act as a tool to discover new energy on modern dance floors.

Ryan’s sets and productions are rich with inspiration from his time spent living in Calgary where he had interests not only in electronic music but also in hip hop, post rock, reggae, jazz, experimental, and even some interest in metal. He began experimenting with production in the early 2000’s but it wasn’t until 2013, with a move to Berlin, that he started investigating his musical capabilities seriously.
Even though two decades have passed since Ryan’s introduction to electronic music, his love for early Warp, Metalheads, Metroplex, Novamute, Skam, Downwards, etc. can still be heard resoundingly clear in the strength and versatility of his productions and sets. The future will see Ford continue to play out and release on labels that share his like-minded affiliation and roots in the electronic music community.

Da wir zum wiederholten Male nicht in der Lage waren ein Aufnahmegerät richtig zu bedienen (falls jemand sich schon gewundert hat, deswegen gibt es auch keine Sets von unseren Parties) hatten wir leider nur eine völlig übersteuerte Aufnahme von unserem Opening bei der Always Ultra im November letzten Jahres. Da wir aber so viel Spaß bei dem Set hatten und die Erinnerungen an den Abend auch gerne musikalisch festhalten wollten, haben wir es einfach nochmal nachgespielt und diesmal die Aufnahme nicht verkackt.
