Amelie and Anna met through their monthly radio show on dublab.de (Kleiderei Radio) where they mainly talk about textiles and sustainable fashion. Both of them are also into music, so it didn't take them very long to start mixing together. While @amslamsl is mostly in charge of the global sounds, rhythms and percussion, @cainelllicainelli makes sure that there are enough happy, electronic beats and r'n'b tracks.

We are happy to present our next guest to you:

Spindyrella loves to keep it oldschool and her favorite thing to do, is to get lost in a record store and go on a little treasure hunt. When choosing a record, she lets herself be guided by her feelings and her mixes mostly consists of hip hop, beats, rap, jazzy boombap and classics from the 90s. In october 2020 she started a radio show called „Old Dirty Laundry“ at Sphere Radio (Leipzig) and every two weeks she invites a DJ to play a set at the show. Spindy also started to make some beats in her little home studio and this feels as she is entering a whole new universe. So listen up and watch out for upcoming music.

Her musical identity lies in a mixture of organic assemblages with tribal sounds, acid bass and world pop, but also transcendent experimental music.

In January 2020 the party and mix tape series “Selectricity” started in the legendary Roxy Club in Cologne.

On the occasion of the Black History Month 2022, the mixtape series „Selectricity“ collaborated with „Decolonize Cologne“, an initiative founded by three historians, enriching their work with a musical debate among Black DJ’s and Artists.

Since then, the collaboration exists. For more to come. . .
