"Founded in 2021, Dark Heaven is a Chicago based event company and collective focused on curating immersive experiences with underground electronic artists, installation/visual artists, and queer performance artists. With bookings from the likes of Matrixxman, Nikki Nair, Overland, Ariel Zetina, Sard, Beau Wanzer, and kryptogram, Dark Heaven thrives in DIY spaces but has also made rounds in the club circuit, most recently at Smartbar and Podlasie Club. In late 2022, co-founder and artist Vorp, with the help of collective partner follidh, began curating La Chasse, translating to “the hunt” in French, launching Dark Heaven as a record label with a various artist compilation album.

With the ‘La Chasse’ compilation the Dark Heaven imprint has pieced together a broad spectrum of sonic influences. Across nineteen tracks the collection traverses through Electro, Jungle, Techno, Bass, Microhouse and Experimental Electronica. "

Ouroboros presents Grey Pantone’s “Acid Break” the second release on the label, produced by the talented Andrés Grey.p, featuring a captivating collaboration with S. Moreira (@smoreira).

Acid Break is a renaissance tribute to the break beat. A rare example that does not rely on the state of the music industry and flows free of social burdens.

From sweet merging acid basslines and bright pads from “Acid Break” passing through Detroit’s deep bass, vocal samples and orchestral arrangements from “Get Down” to the nostalgic frenzyed break-beat “por bulerias” from “Gypsy drummer”. Culminating a Dub “Acid Break remix” that makes you want roll up a tree.

The result is a collection of tracks that effortlessly blend jazzy melodies, broken beats and uplifting vibes.
Scheduled for release in October 2023, “Acid Break” will be available in both vinyl and digital formats. The EP’s distribution will be handled by KMA60 and available digitally across various platforms, including Bandcamp .Stay tuned for the release of “Acid Break” and prepare to fall for it´s Hardcore tenderness.
