Teo Pellegrino, owner of prolific record label SRIE Records in Argentina, is an advocate for a space themed branch of techno that is akin to the Detroit legacy but which he blends with muscular rhythms and complex grooves. The distinct signature of his label and music is rendered onto the newest session of our Hayes Collective podcast.

Up next we have Michal Jablonski. With a mixture of dense industrial atmospheres, offbeat sounds and cinematic elements, driven by an energetic kick, the Warsaw-born artist has been a well known figure in the techno scene in Poland and abroad. This resulted in released on labels such as CRS, Newrhythmic and Secret Keywords. Apart from his musical career, he's co-founder of the Lost in Ether platform, including a podcast series that also inspires us and is definitely worth checking out. 

For this podcast, he showcased a more deeper side of his own musical spectrum, slowly putting you into trance for the next hour.

Originally from France, based in Berlin, Perfo launched his project last October (2020) with his first Ep on Madrid's Koryu Budo label. With a keen sense of commitment and a hard-working attitude stemming from his background in the world of sports, he is now solely dedicated to his musical passion. 

The French artist uses a in-depth knowledge of old school rhythms and merges them with an " avant-gardiste " and trippy style. His motto : Hold the tension, hold the dynamic.

What a treat... Token Records boss Kr!z delivers and impressive and captivating 62-track mix for this week's GVR episode.

Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90s. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the Techno scene. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-DJ for Belgium’ s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’, his DJ-schedule now takes him all over the world.

In 2007, Kr!z felt there was too much good music around from his favourite artists that didn’t get a proper release, so he started his own label ‘@tokenrecords’. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value in the Techno scene of today by bringing a timeless & powerful sound. In the years of its existence Token released tracks & remixes from Inigo Kennedy , Ø [Phase], Luke Slater , James Ruskin, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan, Surgeon, Ben Klock, Xhin, Sigha & Peter van Hoesen, amongst many others.

I'm very happy to announce the second MindLab Experiments is mixed by a promising local producer! Dark Quadrant has released tracks and remixes on well-known labels such like Dynamic Reflection, Labyrinth and Underdub Records. He has a typical sound that will remind you of the good old trippy techno from back in the days.

This is a very cool mix and I truly hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!
