Max Prokop continues to hero experimental approaches within club music. His affinity towards different styles of dancefloor music is exciting and always looks to broaden current perspectives of what club music can be. The mix explores a sense of tension and release and the blurred relationship between the two. There's a heavy dose of UK club music, bass and chopped dub.

This mix comes to you from Melbourne via Newcastle, with the Novocastrian an established figure in the local scene, with releases on Newy institutions 404 (@404crew) and SIDE FX (@sidefxarts), and a mainstay at house shows and venues across the steel city. Another example of the strength of selectors here which we are keen to showcase even more in future series.
