Rob Clouth's Clockwork Atom EP, the eleventh release from Berlin-based record label, Berghain residency, and nomadic party-starters Leisure System, is a triumph of emotional composition and twisted beats. Recalling Jon Hopkins at his fiercest and Autechre at their most melodic, Clouth has put together something special for peak-time and morning-afters alike, three timeless tracks with bass to massage your ears and melodies to warm your heart.

The Barcelona-based glitch expert Rob Clouth has released music under both his given name and the alias Vaetxh on labels such as Traum Schallplatten, King Deluxe, and Detroit Underground. In addition to Clouth's music work, he's also a relentless tinkerer and audio architect, designing multiple pieces of experimental software and hardware, including recent work with digitally painting waveforms. This release on Leisure System arose from a desire to better integrate his two distinct recording aliases in one project, emphasizing the dancefloor-focused elements without abandoning past experimentation.

When not touring his latest album on R'COUP'D, Fink has recently made Berlin a place to rest his head. The influence of his newfound home is crystalline clear considering the artists selected to rework "Pilgrim" - one of the highlights of Hard Believer. Both Paula Temple and Brandt Brauer Frick submit reworks, but it's BBF that come out trumps in this instance.

Future Times is very pleased to introduce this killer 12" to the globe, a serious disc by JACK J. His 12" for Mood Hut last year flipped many wigs and this 12" is further proof that the dude is full-fledged. "Thirstin'" takes the day-in-the-life quintessence of "Something (On My Mind)" even farther, using his voice to beautify the sparkling, spaced track. The B-Side "Atmosphère" is just as mighty, as Jack channels a velvet Patrick Adams vibe in this gorgeous instrumental, the pianos in particular take the song to a galactic place. Both tracks feel like you could live inside them, each as good for walking around This Life chillin' as they are for the party. Essential Summer Music.

John Roberts' Paloma is one of the most interesting tunes of the collection, a track that confirms the American producer's recent return to an even lusher battery of sounds, drifting more freely towards John Cage'ian shores and melting elements as diverse as nervous guitar vibratos and strings getting distorted in an background orgy of swashing percussions.

DJ Koze's 2013 album opus Amygdala has continued to bewitch all who encounter it since its release. Tipped as his own personal Sgt. Pepper, the sublime long-player revealed a fully-realised and personal body of work, complete with a classic songwriting at its core, House in its heart, and veins coursing with psychedelic color. La Duquesa' was the album's dreamy single standout, a journey into deep, tropical ecstasy. XTC' begins in the same spirit, and captures the all the blissful allusions of its name, but its initial gentility belies the deep intensity to come. Floating pads glow with celestial ambience as a kick drum is gradually coaxed into solid form, and the introduction of spoken text begins the second act. Many people are experimenting with the drug Ecstasy,' it says, ...is the drug like the lie and meditation the truth Or am I missing something that could really help me". XTC' then transforms: sweetly imploring tones become demanding, gentle gradients between chords turn hard-edged, and sharp hi-hats cut through the haze. Complete with Koze's signature percussive quirks, it drives towards the track's final pay off: an undeniable, all-consuming, irresistible high. Knee On Belly' recalls Koze at his most tongue-in-cheek and overt, it is bright, bold and literally brassy, using cut-up horns of all shapes and sizes to patchwork together his own unique arrangement. With the highs and mid ranges accounted for, Koze adds in a swollen, thrumming bass line to mix to bring this floor-filler to life. Knee on Belly' recalls a raw, filtered and funky approach to groove, with a nod to disco house and the art of artful sampling, as it orbits between its own neon highs and simmering lows.

Given the breadth of influences and  Pollockian method of application, there are lots of ways to describe Tuscan speedball (not to mention new father (congrats))  Clap! Clap!'s music – but  Black Acre's coining of 'global sound harvest' might just be the best we've seen so far. The label are releasing a new 12", which picks up right where  Tayi Bebba left off. It crackles with energy and is hard not to love, much like the man himself. As if the short, sweet banger wasn't enough, there's even a pair of camouflage socks that come with the release. ESPRIT 空想 - summer night

The fourth and final installment in Future Classic’s Aprés vinyl series, dedicated to its weekly Sunday afternoon sessions of the same name that has hosted guests including Brennan Green, Joakim, Mock & Toof, Lovefingers, Aeroplane, Canyons, Jamie Lloyd, Padded Cell, Idjut Boys, Foolish Felix, Todd Terje, Sidwho?, Loin Brothers, Jazzanova, Karsten John, Jimi Polar, Marcus Worgull, The Revenge, Yam Who?, Peret Mako, Arto Mwambé, Move D, Roland Appel, Dave Aju, Trus' Me, Jacques Renault, Will Saul & Woolfy to name a few with residents Nathan McLay & Chad Gillard.

The vinyl version of volume four features music by Lithuania's Mario Basanov and remixes by Arithmatix! (a new project from the artist formerly known as Touch Sensitive) and Downtown Party Network (Eskimo), with a lovely vocal and instrumental mix by 6th Borough Project (Craig Smith & The Revenge) and another by Newfoundland as digital exclusives.
