On the cusp of releasing his second album, Sattellittskygge on 30th May, Torkelsen delves into the mix exclusively for i-D, providing the soundtrack to listen to whilst walking towards summer. "A collection of tracks I like and a couple of remixes and a beat tape track from my own "archives". I had a lot to choose from when it comes to rap. Rhymesayers being one of my favorite labels, I chose to run with Aesop Rock and p.o.s in this mix. Two different voices in the underground rap scene, and both have inspired me a lot. I could've went with older material, like Aesop's previous albums ‘Labour Days’, ‘Bazooka Tooth’ and ‘None Shall Pass’, but it chose a track from ‘Skelethon’ his most recent album because of the new direction in the production. Something that also can be heard in his side project ‘Hail Mary Mallon’. RJD2 is also someone I've looked up to a long time. I strongly recommend his side project Insane Warrior as well. J zone is someone I discovered through listening to other artists, his beats really made an impact."
