Playing Italo Disco Dance Trance for an incredible dance mob as the sun rises is unbeatable! A big shoutout to all the energetic dancers (also my fellow dekokokon fairies 🦋) still going strong this early in the morning.  

The stage design was truly remarkable, and the festival overall is just premium quality, from the music acts to the setup and the cutest people.

This is the recording of my live set at the Bucht der Träumer Festival 2024. I am still riding on how much fun that was! Unfortunately I only started recording 10-15 min into the set. Hope you enjoy it :)

Selina‘s inspiration for djing started after learning about the New York disco and Chicago house scene of the 70s and 80s. She looks up to all time legends such as Larry Levan, Nicky Siano and Frankie Knuckles, as well as more modern DJs such as Octo Octa, Roi Perez, Nat Wendell and Palms Trax. 

She aims to transmit feelings of euphoria with her sets, as well as incorporating groovey and soulful numbers - often by selecting tribal and classic house tracks from the early and late 90s with driving percussive elements. She is also interested in the therapeutic effects of sound and music and is currently studying a masters in music therapy. 

Selina has played several locations across Berlin such as Watergate, Oxi, About Blank, RSO, Renate, Ritter Butzke, Studio108, Skalar, Bucht der Träumer and Home Again Festival; in the Netherlands and in Greece.
