This set holds a piece of my heart. My story with the Wintergarten started back in 2017, during my first visit to Sisyphos. Coming from Vienna, where I was mostly surrounded by techno and downtempo, I stumbled into something that felt completely different. In the Wintergarten, I heard House in all its colors and layers for the first time. After 18 hours of dancing, I went back to Vienna, not fully understanding what had hit me. At the time, I just called it "Wintergarten sound," only realizing later it was House – a genre that barely crossed paths with my world back home.

When the chance came to play in the very spot where it all started, I was overwhelmed. Nervous doesn’t even begin to describe it. But stepping into that booth was a full-circle moment, and this set is the result of all those emotions.

To my crew and everyone on the dancefloor that night – your energy made it unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💜

Selina‘s inspiration for djing started after learning about the New York disco and Chicago house scene of the 70s and 80s. She looks up to all time legends such as Larry Levan, Nicky Siano and Frankie Knuckles, as well as more modern DJs such as Octo Octa, Roi Perez, Nat Wendell and Palms Trax. 

She aims to transmit feelings of euphoria with her sets, as well as incorporating groovey and soulful numbers - often by selecting tribal and classic house tracks from the early and late 90s with driving percussive elements. She is also interested in the therapeutic effects of sound and music and is currently studying a masters in music therapy. 

Selina has played several locations across Berlin such as Watergate, Oxi, About Blank, RSO, Renate, Ritter Butzke, Studio108, Skalar, Bucht der Träumer and Home Again Festival; in the Netherlands and in Greece.
