New Growth

Rise up through tired winter beds,
A leaf or two at first, and then...
An eruption of yellow and green
The splendor of nature's birthday suit
Comes clean again.

The forest shows the way to spring,
this rebirth, will rebirth, our rebirth.
And so tired eyes rub themselves awake,
To plant naked dancing feet 
Upon this Evergreen floor. 

We as a community come side-by-side
Circled up, and ready to ride,
This wave, this journey, this cycle.
With nature as our guide,
Our rebirth, will rebirth, this new earth.

I recorded this set on April 3, 2022 for the Asheville Movement Collective were I reside as a facilitator and mix maker. The set was crafted with me pulling an all nighter the night before to design the wave and practice it, and then I played it live with a few adjustments to fit the vibe of the dance floor. 

All of the artist names and track titles are noted by me in the comments. Mahalo to all the musical artists and the many cultures that helped produce the music I use to craft this journey. 

I'm also happy to share a poem I wrote as an intention to this Sunday morning dance. Blessings to all those who honor the act of dance as medicine.

The Eclipse Season we are in right now is a highly energetic portal that offers us great potential and opportunities for growth. It illuminates our shadows including our deepest fears and we are invited to get out of our comfort zone and step into the version of ourselves we are meant to become and came here to be. The time is now. Its a time for new Beginnings. Telling a new story about ourselves and the world. A story that contains more love, compassion, abundance, excitement and joy for all of us. There is an opportunity now if we are willing to do the inner work to uplift us and the collective in BIG ways. Its the astrological new year now with Aries Season starting and our actions, thoughts and dreams now are planting the seeds for the year to come. I invite you to go on a journey of liberation, letting go of your old limited self and birth the lighter and brighter version that your soul and heart desire you to life.   

May this journey assist you in this process of liberation and transformation.

This Samples Pack includes sounds of real, rare and unique, sacred instruments that I recorded myself playing in Tulum, as well as some natural ambiences from sacred locations in the region.

You will get almost 1GB of completely 1 of a kind loops and one-shot samples including Melodies from wind and string instruments to Percussion, Natural Ambience, Giant Gong, Chimes, and a super special recording of a real shaman from Mexico making a prayer for the earth.

I recorded all of these instruments at the amazing store "Frequencies Tulum" created by my friend Jean, who puts a lot of energy into collecting quality instruments from around the world to sell in the shop. You can check it out on Instagram and purchase instruments online directly from them if you feel inspired! It's very difficult to find these kind of instruments with such good quality and selection.

Inside you will also find some photos and videos to accompany the sounds so you can actually see the instruments and ambiences that you are using in the music!

I created the sample pack with the intention of enabling more producers to use these scared sounds and healing frequencies in their music, considering having direct access to them is not so easy depending where you live!
